We are looking for a Content Coordinator to skillfully manage the development and deployment of engaging, high quality content across various channels including: website, social media, email and occasionally print campaigns for our small brick/mortar business clients. You will actively writing, editing and contributing to the editorial process. Key responsibilities include: Digital Marketing: * Develop and manage social media strategies and tactics, web content and search engine strategy in coordination with all content and nurture campaigns * Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and a willingness to speak out about areas of improvement * Provide innovative ways to promote campaigns and engage/capture target audiences * Keep HVDM up-to-date on technology related to e-mail marketing, social media management and other technologies as they improve and change Content Marketing: * Develop and execute a cross-channel content marketing plan that translates business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables * Create and maintain a functional content calendar * Manage the content development process from end-to-end (requesting, creating, editing, publishing) working with both internal and external content contributors and creative resources * Assure that all content is optimized for search engines, sharing and frictionless distribution across channels * Manage content for clients’ website, blog, social media presence and deploy content across all channels * Maintain content standards in terms of quality, tone, style and grammar * Lead efforts to continually develop new content themes, topics and formats in a collaborative fashion Why should you join the team? * You want to be part of a fast-paced, fun and positive cross-functional remote team * You love learning and have an endless unquenching thirst for curiosity Qualifications: * 3-5 years experience managing content and digital marketing (ideally for a small business) * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism or related field * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a preference for fluent English speakers * Ability to translate complex ideas into easily digestible content * Excitement for all aspects of content development and promotion for small businesses. This includes: idea generation, research, writing, editing, gathering input, collaborating with designers, and promoting through multiple channels * Able to juggle multiple priorities at once with solid project management skills and a “get shit done” attitude * Proven experience with Digital Marketing tools including: WordPress, Twitter, Google Analytics and Mass Planner * Experience with SEO, social media and digital marketing trends and best practices * Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results using marketing analytics * Ability to deliver results on a distributed, remote team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Flexibility to quickly adapt and align with business needs * High degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness * Tenacity to learn about key target audience, what’s important to them and what their needs are and turn that into results * Strong understanding of B2B marketing, demand generation and the buyer journey * Strong experience in proactively driving and leading projects to completion Nice to have: * Web development and/or CSS knowledge * Design / creative experience or desire to grow * AdWords or Facebook Ad experience * Portfolio of written content that demonstrates versatility across multiple formats (website, social media, email, collateral video, etc)
