I need a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet constructed, to be visually enagaging, functionally simple to use and capable of scaling with more features into the future. The spreadsheet will need to assist the scheduling of operations on a wine bottling line. The structure of the spreadsheet will need to accommodate several (generally a maximum of 4) wine bottling jobs per day (Monday to Friday) and then display the week's bottling jobs. It will be necessary for the spreadsheet's user to add wine bottling jobs continuously over the weeks and months ahead. The data entered is relatively straightforward (please see the attached spreadsheet), but I would like the successful candidate to build a series of pivot tables so the data can be presented for the user to easily understand. The development of the spreadsheet will be ongoing, and it should be constructed in a manner to enable the calculation of time each job will take, and then assisting the spreadsheet's user in identifying the best schedule for the coming day(s). The successful candidate is welcome to identify a more appropriate layout of the data, and where possible to generate meaningful displays of the data. It will be necessary for the data to be printed in a hard-copy form, so the print capable presentation will be also required.
