For this role, strong analytical skills are not optional. Our client is looking for free-to-play development professionals with a real passion for the types of games they make. The right candidate is used to working with developers, artists, producers, and designers in quick development cycles. Our client believes in a balance of metrics-driven product design with creative quality and product intuition and the right person will be able to put that belief into practice.
Work independently to generate new feature ideas and improvements to existing features.
Make wireframes and write detailed specifications.
Work with developers, artists, other PM's in your team to prioritize tasks and execute.
Establish KPI's for each feature, ensure tracking is appropriate, and provide analysis.
Understanding of the principals of online development, such at A/B testing.
Communicate priorities effectively inward to the development team and outward to management and the rest of the company.
5 or more years of experience.
2 years in a leadership role on a live, free to play game.
Have taken a game from inception to launch.
Excellent understanding of agile development methodologies.
Experience working with remote teams.
Cross-functional leadership experience.
P&L management experience.
Must be relentless.
Play games, love games, and be aware of what's happening in the market.
