I am part of a responsible business conference on 12 May in London. The line up for the day is excellent. This 230 seat venue charging only £175 for the day, including lunch, should have been sold out weeks ago. However, it still has 130 tickets unsold (writing this on 28 April). I have proposed to the organisers that, at this stage, bums on seats is the only really important thing - for the sake of putting on a great conference and having something to build on for the years ahead. (This is only really the second year they have run this event.) They are in agreement. As such, we are happy to offer high commission rates to a sale person or sales people that can work on this full time and sell all the seats.
130 tickets to sell @ £175 each = £22,750. We are happy to offer up to 50% of this as pay/commission OTE. To do this, we need someone with a demonstrably track record in UK sales willing to take on the risk, work hard, and sell the place out.
Please get in touch briefly stating your credentials and your proposal. 50% OTE commission assumes a very low basic hourly rate. For those needing a higher hourly rate, the OTE commission rate would be set lower.
