To create a 360 3D spherical animation in mp4 format. The animation is to be 1 minute of length and intended to ultimately be converted for Samsung oculus VR. The animation is to be evocative, dynamic and attention-grabbing where the viewer feels engaged and is taken through an experience.
The main messaging, which is pivotal in this animation, correlates back to our four main design principles and should also be strategically and creatively applied. As our main expertise of trade is retail design, the animation output should always refer to retail environments. There should be four main events in the animation representing our 4 design principles, these could be represented by 4 floorplans which demonstrates this. We are able to provide 3d modelled floorplans for your convenience.
The animation will be of a track-like journey where the viewer is taken on a controlled ride much like a roller coaster ride. As the ride goes along, the viewer is faced with messaging which can be retail environments or anything correlating back to the four design principles. The movie in the following link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99kCY0Qk0Y4) demonstrates the experience we are looking for in terms of the track and ride itself, however the background should be all white and every other asset in the scene should only be the once which are situated in 4 locations along the track explaining our 4 design principles.
The animation should be in 3000x1500px 360˚ spherical lens mp4 with a 300 dpi, with a total length of 1 minute played in 24fps. The content will finally be uploaded onto the oculus app built in for Samsung (Oculus) Gear VR enabled devices, why we need to ensure the format.
As part of our brand, we want the experience to be of highest quality and that we work for an outcome which pushes the content to be as good as possible.
Initially we would like to see a detailed storyboard and example assets and then have two follow ups before the final submission to ensure the content and quality. The final submission date for the project would be 10/06/2016.
