I have an STL file of a Terminator phased plasma rifle (from the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day) that needs a few modifications made in order to get it 3D printed properly. I would like someone with experience in 3D modeling as well as experience with preparing a 3D model to be printed. I would need the problem areas addressed so it can be printed via Shapeways or other 3D printing services. The final design will need to be able to printed at 21mm in length. Assuming the rifle is 1 meter long at 1/1 scale, 21mm is the length of the rifle at 1/48 scale. Because the end product is so small, I do not mind if there must be exaggerated features in order to allow it to be printed properly. I have attached a jpeg showing the problem areas according to Shapeways. The yellow areas need to be made thicker: in the case of the barrel, just filled in so it is not hollow; the trigger guard made thicker, the atmosphere ionizer made thicker, and those little flanges made thicker or removed.

We have a Candy Holders already designed and all files in STL and ESM and a Few other Formats. We need an industrial designer/engineer to help finalize the lid/basic structural design for manufacturing and for 3D printing. This is very simple but beautiful designs for a candy tin that we just need to figure out the final dimensions and lid detail we need to print ASAP 3D samples so we can test it before we go to making molds/manufacturing What we need: 1) STL files (For 3D printing) 2) Detailed Blueprints for molds/manufacturing 3) Final files in a format that our designers can use to make final/corrections for 3D renders that we can use for client presentation After we test and 3D print them we may need corrections basses on the prints We have 5 different styles for four different clients totally 5 different tins in THIS particular project. However this will be ongoing work and realistically we will have between 1 and 2 new tins per week if we are able to work together. Thank you

There is an image that needs to be turned into a 3D design. The image is a university logo and should be 6 inches x 4 inches. The 3D product should look like the attached file. This should be an easy job for one who knows 3D modeling because we already have the 2D image available that needs to be converted. The preferred file format is STL.

I need a industrial designer/engineer to create the plans for a "Pez Dispenser" for business card-sized cards. This dispenser will act along the same lines as a pez dispenser or a bullet clip for a gun (i.e. bullets or pez are securely held inside by a spring and retainer) except instead of dispensing the cards one at a time, it will enable the user to insert the card into the holder one at a time. This dispenser will: - Hold anywhere from 1 to 50 business card-sized cards - Enable easy insertion of cards, one at a time - Hold inserted cards securely inside where they will not fall out from rapid motion/movement - Enable the cards to be removed at one time as a stack** - Can be securely clipped-on for wearing on a belt or armband - Rugged plastic case design that can tolerate being dropped by accident ** Card removal one at a time from the entry-point MAY be acceptable if bulk removal is not feasible. This product is not intended for retail distribution.

Hi, I need assistance with the design and make of a prototype. The product is for sphere / round shaped ice cubes 5cm in diameter. The final product needs to be a non-rigid plastic, that once opened, is immediately disposable. The ice cube needs to be trademarked so the plastic will need to have a logo embossed on the inside. Attached is a file to explain, adjustments may be needed. Many thanks.

I need an engineer who knows Maya and has possibly created body joints before. I attached a photo of my trademarked doll. She is currently an animated character. I need to be able to print her on an FDM printer in several body parts (without supports) and then be able to snap her together and move like a bratz doll or monster high doll when done. I'd need final maya files and STL files ready for print. The STL files will allow me to print her in any size. Joints to snap together and move: Neck Shoulder Upper chest Elbows Wrists Hips Knees Ankle I also have two other characters if I can get this to work. I need someone who is great, responsive, and works quickly. Project timeline to completion: 3-4 weeks.
