Our company is expanding into a much larger facility as we our growing. With growth comes large expenses. One that we feel we could use some crowd funding help with is our BioMass project. This project would turn all of our woodworking scrap, dust, and any wood-based debris into usable heat through a boiler system. All items would be fed into a grinder/hopper that would then extract all metallic objects from the waste, transfer it to a briquette making machine that then creates burnable fuel from 100% (would be) waste, and the shop/shop floor would be heated using this fuel. The radiant floor heating would be produced by the water running through the flooring and heating from the ground up via boiler system. This isn't just good for our company, but mainly for the earth and the decreased natural gas usage, decreased landfill usage, and to push the recycling message that we already try to have as little waste as possible, but when we create it, we will be able to use every bit of it up.
So that summarizes what we are doing, now what we need help with is an animated video with some narration and explanation of the process to showcase on our crowdfunding and financial assistance platforms.
I've attached a brief sketch from us (non-graphic designers) to show a bit of a process flow of this system. Once you have a chance to look it over, we can go over any additional questions you may have for us. We will also discuss how much waste we anticipate that we will be reusing, how much mass will not end up in a landfill, how much the machines cost, how much we will save through garbage service, etc. We would want something showing a dirty shop using up natural gas/fossil fuels, and a bunch of stuff going into the landfill, then with our new system - a nice clean shop with the waste grinder, dust collection, boiler system and the whole blue skies and green trees image.
