Team Horner has a legacy of being at the forefront of education in the swimming pool industry. We have created in-house development courses and even college level programs for educating employees and customers. Now, we want to make our content available on-demand by converting existing hard copy programs into digital training tools. We plan to use a Learning Management System (LMS) to control the course registrations, monitoring and costs.
The Instructional Desinger will be responsible for taking the files (pdfs, Word docs, PPTs) and making that content available for a LMS. They will work with key instructors to clarify course structure, content and any testing associated with the course. The instructors will be the ones to give their final approval of developed courses.
The Instructional Designer also have a project managers as a point of contact who will be responsible for technical challenges, project milestones and payments.
The successful applicant should have a minimum of 1 year experience with Instructional Design and have excellent communication skills.
The project duration will need to be determined by in conjunction with the Instructional Designer and with consideration to pace and availability of teaching resources. A rough estimate, based on part time work (20hrs/week) puts the project within a 6-month time frame.
