What I need or desire.
My company looks to bring quality products to the wellness community across North America and the world. We are looking for a designer to design/sketch some covers for kettle bells.
I need a designer who has experience with fabric. The fabirc needs to handle wear and tear (like hemp, neoprene) - maybe anti bacterial - maybe washable? and needs to fit over a kettle bell. Kettle bells come in all sizes depending on their weight, so lets say a 30lb kettle bell or 16kg kettle bell, depending on where you buy the bell.
These drawings need to be clear, no Illustrations please. Technical drawings are preferable but any form is necessary as long as they are easy to understand and later capable of being transformed into technical drawings.
At minimum the cover must go over the kettle bell and be secure to fit and be able to be monogramed or embroidered on (such as the numerals of its weight and the gym it is located in).
You only will be required to submit one drawing at a time, upon approval with can ask you to continue, this saves us time and ensure we are on the same page.
*Provide fabric type; more than one is applicable, especially if one may be more pertinent to women than men.
*Must be able to be embroidered.
*These materials must be easily sources; you have either scene or worked with them before.
*If the design are received well you will be asked to provide all detailed measurements of each component used and the finished dimensions of each component (length, width, diameter)?
• Once designs are purchased, they, as well as any future production that results from them, will be the property of my team and used for private label, you will be informed as to how they will be used and if they were received well by our customer. We hope for repeat business with you if all goes well! (A contract will have to be signed to this effect.)?
• You must provide proof that the designs are your own original idea, as to prevent any future accountability on our part ?( i.e. pictures of work in progress and/or inspirational tools)
* Upon approval of drawings, if you are able to manufacture a prototype further compensation can be discussed?
• Specific expertise:
• Past or present experience working in accessories, fashion and or retail.• Technical renderings are a bonus!
Here is an example of what we are looking for - but we want out own design and a possible latch to go through the top pf the kettle bell to lock everything down.
