I am looking for someone to translate a self-published manual from English to Spanish. This manual is for people who want to become personal fitness trainers, and thus, does not have a large word count. Since the most updated file is now in Adobe InDesign, I do not have the exact word count, but it is somewhere around 40,000 words, if maybe a little less -- and it's currently 220 pages.
I would be happy to send anyone interested a digital copy and see what it entails. The language and prose is very straightforward and clear, as it was designed to be read by people without advanced degrees — thus, it should be an easier project to translate than a literary work or actual books. At the same time, however, there are some exercise/medical terms that might require a bit of nuance, and there are also some figures and diagrams and I am not sure how that factors in, either.
The big catch: I am also looking for someone to translate it IN Adobe InDesign, therefore, this person must know how to use this program and be willing to work on the file inside this program.
Upon completion, we would be happy to list your name as a co-author of our manual and recognize your work.
I look forward to hearing from those interested. Thank you!
