Today we tried to send out a newsletter that had 6 blocks of informational text and photos. Here are the issues we ran into along with what we wanted to happen. Please let me know if you can help with any of these issues and what the cost would be to give us the solution for each or all. All attachments are in this file: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6pGu-htH8QkeWhkdDlBRERmX2s&usp=sharing 1) What’s happening: Originally, we tried to do it using one long jpeg created in indesign. See attached file called “1 Penthouse tour”. This file came out too small in email. Everything was hard to read bc it was so small and the text was blurry. See attached file called “2 Penthouse tour” What we want to happen: We want to send an indesign file via email, exported as jpegs, however it’s going to come through full size and render properly. 2) What’s happening: When I save indesign files as jpegs, they look blurry/low res when they are shared via email. I’ve tried saving it as a 72 and 300 DPI RGB file. I also tried saving it as a 300 DPI CYMK file. I even tried exporting the indesign file as a high res PDF, then putting it into Photoshop and saving it for web, again high res. See attached file called “3 blurry jpeg”. What we want to happen: We want the jpeg to be crisp and clear when used digitally, just as crisp and clear as it looks when it’s a pdf. 3) What’s happening: When I send multiple jpegs in one email, I am unable to see them on my mobile device (even though other people are able to see them). Each of the jpegs is linked to a URL, so I do briefly see various instances of the following in the body of the email: [cid:image001.jpg@01D1D86C, etc] See attached file called “4 email image problem” What we want to happen: We want the jpegs to render properly on mobile and desktop. 4) What’s happening: When I send the jpegs as full size (22"), they come across fine on my dell desktop computer (see attached image called “5 email fine in dell”, but my colleague who has a mac laptop sees them as super huge and she has to scroll to the left and right in order to read all the content See attached image called “6 email not fine on mac laptop”. So we changed the width to 9" so that it would come through and take up about the width of the screen. This worked in terms of my colleague being able to see the whole screen at once. However, when we sent the email, the jpegs (which are supposed to be stacked on top of one another) are showing up next to eachother/as two columns on my widescreen dell desktop. See attached file called “7 double column on desktop widescreen”. What we want to happen: We’d like this to show up as a one column “newsletter” no matter what size screen it’s being looked at on. We don’t want the double formatting which messes up the formatting. 5) Things we have considered but for internal reasons are not doing: a. using an email provider such as constant contact or mailchimp b. submitting the file as an attachment c. using Microsoft word and copy/pasting into the email

Hi, we have a very simple catalogue template based on indesign. The template is not deployed properly and master pages to not apply properly. We look for somebody who can help us to streamline this. Create proper template pages and then merges the text content into the new template logic. The design etc. is ready. The design is very simple though, and text contains only one short title, a name and a item number. We might want to add the url to our website as well at the bottom in the black box - lets talk about this later. Picture attached.
