As our graphic designer you'll need to understand quickly our needs before making design decisions, you'll need to work quickly and be expert in InDesign and Photoshop.
You will work on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, but initially corporate communications - presentations to clients, which are converted into PDF files, for email purposes.
You'll work to a brief agreed with us and will develop creative ideas and concepts. The appropriate media and style has to be chosen to meet our current objectives - we do not want to reinvent anything at this stage - and you'll need to work quickly.
The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
You may need to manage more than one design brief at a time and typical activities include:
Speaking with us to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job;
Estimating the time required to complete the work - which must be turned around in good time;
Developing design briefs that suit the our purpose and fit in with our current design;
Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to us;
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work - so English must be perfect.
