Hey Guys, We need help to identify a sensor type and part number to detect the tension on the 6 individual strings of a guitar. We also need a simple method to incorporate them into a fixed guitar bridge or at the ferrules where the strings pass through the guitar body. The reason we need to detect the tension on the guitar string, is to detect the Pitch Bend applied to each individual string and use it to accurately send pitch-bend by MIDI. We have already designed and released an excellent MIDI guitar system and very accurate pitch-bend sensing will be an big extra feature for the musician. The 6 individual sensors, will ideally be relatively economical to buy and can somehow be incorporated into the guitar to sense pressure changes on the string ball end. This will in turn pass a signal to our MCU which can then accurately detect and send the pitch bend. Note that the strings are fitted through ferrules from the back of the guitar so the sensors could most likely be incorporated there somehow. Design drawings are available where necessary. We hope that the successful applicant can identify 3 basic options by the end of the coming week that can then be explored further. If you think you can help us identify this sensor, I would be more than happy to hear from you :-) So please get in touch! Thanks, Rob

I’m working on creating a guitar pedal system that magnetically links together. A cross between a modular synth and a traditional set of guitar pedals. A base pedal that has various pedals that can snap on to the system. Instead of guitarists creating a mix-match board of various pedals and technologies (all with their own power supply and connecting cables mounted onto a separate board), they can connect together a set of pedals that all work and are designed to connect seamlessly together. A system that allows play and re-composing of order to create never-before-heard sounds. (Mainly analog with the occasional use of Midi for specific tasks like tempo setting.) Think little bits (http://littlebits.cc), but for guitar pedals. Think Moog Sonic Six (http://www.vintagesynth.com/moog/sonic6.php) as an actual set of independent, connected components on the floor (without the keyboard of course). I need an expert in circuit design (that might also love the audio and synthesizer world). Any expertise in circuit printing, production and assembly would be useful too. Probably start with the core base pedal and then a couple pedals that will prove out the concept. Just a single prototype needed for testing with the goal of larger production based on the business side of things. I have write-ups and concepts for each component when we get to that point in discussion.

I'm looking for a experienced electric / electronics specialist in UPS and batteries to help me to design an economic solution for backup 2 computers, 2 monitors, 2 pos, 2 printer, 1 pbx, 1 router, 1 switch, 5 access points, for at least 4 hours when commercial power was cut. It's not usual event, but it can happen once a month, so I would need that solution feeds with energy for at least 4 hours. I prefer someone who has experience, because you should take into account several parameters in ups, battery, etc like current float of battery, battery should never run out of energy, discharge curve of battery affected by temperature, etc I measured the circuit where all these loads are working with a current meter clamp. The total current measured were 2.5A / 221v and power factor around 0.8. Total power is around 442w I was thinking to use for this application : - VLRA or gel battery - Pure sine inverter charger http://www.aliexpress.com/item/INVERTER-24V-to-220V-230V-240V-Modified-Sine-Wave-Power-Inverter-DC-to-AC-3000w-6000/32456942300.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.2.lVOpmA Pure sine inverter charger has the function to conmute between commercial energy and battery energy. I would like to use the products that are available on market like the pure sine inverter if you have a better idea for this project, I would like to know your propose. Please, avoid copy and paste curriculum as your answer, I would like to know more about your propose about this project. Remember I can read your curriculum in your freelancer profile. Looking for an experienced engineer to produce electronic schematics and PCB board design for our upcoming product line. This contract consists of three (3) sub projects: -A "Core" daughter board supporting an existing and well supported system-on-module. -Two (2) accessory boards which each must include their own micro-controller. Each board shall require: -Electronic Schematic for Review -PCB layout. Detailed, Non-Technical scopes-of-work have been produced for each product but can only be released after signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement. However the following type of functional requirements should be expected: -Micro-Controller selection. -Audio Amplification/ Pre-Ampification/ Control -Power Monitoring, Distribution and Fused Protection. -RGB display -Power Over Ethernet (Powered Device) -RS232, RS485, Ethernet Transeivers. -SPI communications. -Environmental Monitoring. -General Purpose Input / Output Terminals. Software development is excluded form this scope and is being developed in a parallel track. Boards are expected to be designed for production considerations.

Hello I need to hire an Embedded system specialist who would help me to develop an application on Beaglebone. that would let me switch two RF signals. So far I have two CATV signal from different providers, but only one is connected to the CATV amplifier and when there is an issue with the CATV signal, I have to unplug the CATV cable from CATV amplifier, then I plug the another CATV cable to fix the issue meanwhile the CATV signal of the another CATV provider come back. I have a RF switch board that you can check its datasheet on the information I attached this post. Basically It should be feed with 5v between pins GND-Vdd. With pin Vctl you can control the RF switch when you change the voltage from 0 to 2v. You would help me developing the application that would let me switch from input RF1 signal and RF2 signal through a website, where I would have 2 options to select: Enable RF1 input or enable RF2 input. Besides, I would like to connect to beaglebone board a lcd display, where you would write the RF signal that is active in this moment. Finally, I would like to add a switch or something similar to switch from RF1 and RF2 input signal manually, just in case there is no network connection to beaglebone. I would switch RF signal manually. I've attached a picture of what I'm looking for. Please, avoid copy and paste curriculum as your answer, I would like to know more about your propose about this project. Remember I can read in detail your curriculum in your freelancer profile.
