Hi, Background: We have a company with a couple of hundreds of employees. They have to be mobilized daily from their homes to our fabrics. We not always send the same people to the same fabric. For security reasons we are looking for a combination of a GPS and a RFID systems. We would like to have to possibility to track the company trucks and buses with the GPS system (using Google services probably). Furthermore, if a road is closed for any reason (accident, construction, etc.) the system should offer the driver and/or the control computer back in the headquarters the possibility to offer them an alternative route. Moreover, we would like to have the possibility to track our employees via RFID to see if they have been picked up and where. We would also like to see where they have been brought to and when. In order to improve utilization, we would like to know which employee is travelling in which bus (type, size, etc.). Additionally, these two systems should be supported with the respective infrastructure (Hardware + Software). I.e. we should have access via smartphone, tablet and PC on real time to all this information. It should be possible to send messages of any kind (warnings, changes, infos) on real time between each other user/device. All this should be available and should offer a 24/7 support. Task/Job: • You need to search if there is any kind of providers offering this type of services. • We expect you to tell us about the latest available software/services/companies in both emerging and emerged economies/countries are using for pricing to customers. • Perform a benchmark among these providers. • Furthermore, once you have found the best option, we would like you to do a benchmark of three companies that have successfully used your suggested solution • Finally, you should make us a suggestion for which software/service/company we should implement or work with in our company. • If you wouldn’t find anyone providing these combined system services, what would be the necessary steps to build this thing on our own? Our company is a GPS Tracking provider for many industries within the U.S. We use primarily GPRS and CDMA networks. We primarily use Calamp devices for all our needs. We are looking for a developer to help us write a script or update the script we are usings whichever is easier and faster to develop. We find that some developers like to start a script for scratch and others like to adjust the script accordingly.
