I'm looking for a fairly simple application to be designed for Android - open to other platforms at a later time. I need to be able to Scan a barcode into a spreadsheet or database, and that barcode scan needs to trigger a data log based on an incoming stream of data from an RS232 Serial connection (its actually a weight scale) that outputs in serial format. The spreadsheet/database should also include the date/timestamp from the scan. **Must Haves** Mobile capability - Android tablet. RS232 Data Linked to Scan Data with Timestamp STUPID EASY INTERFACE - the end user lacks a high school education and may have never seen a cell phone in their life (seriously). A means of exporting the data to a PC - CSV file would be fine. Strongly Desired: Sortable database - I.E. The ID scan will be tied to a person and would like to be able to pull data based on that barcode. Ability to total day's results by ID scan and total of all scans for the day (i.e. total weight per ID number, and total weight for all ID's for the day). Plans to expand beyond this job, but not needed immediately: Integration of data export with QuickBooks etc. Integration of a receipt of scan - link to a mobile printer, or emailed receipt or both. Android Mobile Application development experience is a given. Experience with database management software or Excel is obviously important. Industrial Automation experience wouldn't hurt. If you've written POS software before, this should be a cakewalk for you. We might even be able to modify existing POS freeware to meet our needs. I'm willing to pay a fair market rate for this project, or partner up with the right individual. Currently my product offering is designed, much of the hardware has been selected, and target market analysis has been done. If you are providing a quote, I need to see a clear hourly rate and expected time to complete the project. My budget for software has not yet been determined and will be based partly upon responses received to this and other job postings. I do not have a hard launch date, but if I could get this done in a few weeks that would be fantastic. I prefer to work with young, enthusiastic, english speaking individuals who work hard and it shows, but I will not discriminate. Make sure you include samples of your work for my review (obviously). Thanks for reading and I look forward to potentially working with you!

Project based on open source software 1-Programming of controller (like arduino, raspebeby pi, udoo) that has sensors for greenhouse (humidity, irrigation, temperature, fertilization,ph and other necessary sensors for a greenhouse) 2-building a cloud platform where all the controler will send data, filtrate the data, be able to monitor update all the controller via the cloud 3-building APPS for android or IOS to keep tracking of the data on any platform we are open for any discussion and fine tune all the requirement with interested consultant. the target is to have a low cost product that can be distributed in remote area where there is no power and for people with disability or with not lots of education

I need to test 500 EGR valves in a very short period of time. These valves are controlled by a PWM signal with the following attributes: 12 Volt 2500 Hz 0-50% duty cycle Each valve has a 0-5V signal output for position. The test procedure is to simply open and close the valve 10 times, each time reading: 1. Sensor open voltage 2. Sensor close voltage 3. Time to open 4. Time to close Each of these values will be within upper and lower bounds that are set in the code. Tests that fail will illuminate a simple red light, tests that pass will illuminate a red light. Code should be legible and well documented and should be accompanied by a circuit diagram. Stateside candidates that can produce a prototype circuit in the next week may receive additional compensation.

I am looking for an innovative PCB specialist who can develop for me a working proto-type of a newly conceived product. The USB stick proto-type would: 1) Hold storage up to 512 Gb 2) Be a USB 3.0 3) Have a LCD screen The LCD screen will have the following functionalities: a) Show how many Gb / Mb are left on device (for example: if I store 3.5Gb of data on a 512GB USB then I want the screen to show me that there is 508.5Gb left; b) Enables user to name there USB (i.e when they plug it into the computer they can name it)...this would then show on the LCD Screen (for example: Nathans Movies); c) Enable the User to enter their Contact Number in case it is lost (for example; If Lost Call 0422 121 121). 4) The USB will be illuminated by a colour (for example: Blue) 5) The USB will have two button capacity that enables battery to be activated (so that it conserves battery life). 6) We require the USB hardware to be as small as possible 7) We require all of the documentation that would be ready for mass manufacturing (i.e. schematics / hardware layout) 8) Finally we require a working proto-type that will be sent to our Industrial Designer in South Africa for proto-type 3D printing. The following milestones would be attributable to the project: a) Schematics / Hardware Layout (i.e. paperwork required for future production) b) PCB Assembly / Component Procurement c) Firmware programming d) Troubleshooting / Test Tuning As part of your application, please advise of the timeframe that you would be able to complete it in. Cheers Nathan
