We are new media company looking for great writers who can work on a recurring basis to write 2 website articles a month, with rotating topics. The topics will be chosen by us and sent to the writer, they would be mostly lifestyle and entertainment related.
We are primarily looking for writers who also have research experience and can use the Internet to source their information and write about
The content would be in a slideshow format, so there will be 1-3 paragraphs per slide and 1-2 pictures per slide. The articles would need to be between 10 and 15 slides long. The pictures would either need to be licensed for open use or quote a source in the byline or caption of the article. Some articles can be mostly picture based, others can be mostly text based. We are looking for a variety.
Example topics are: "10 of the world's greatest unsolved mysteries", "5 things you should wear to get a raise at work", "10 signs you are an old millennial", "17 pictures people obsessed with dogs would understand".
We are looking for engaging, catchy and even funny writing styles, enough to keep people reading to the next slide. The goal of the article is to get as many people as possible to read all the way to the end of the article. Think of Buzzfeed.com or Distractify .com content.
