We are looking for an experienced programmer to create the firmware for our new sensor hardware. We have developed the logical flow diagrams and detailed specifications for the project.
The ideal candidate will have experience programming ATMEL hardware. We require the code to be well annotated and documented to ensure that future modifications can be easily implemented. Our hardware specifically uses the ATMEL SAM4S as the microcontroller.
This is initially a one off project however there may be further opportunities from a successful engagement.
Communication skills are key for us to ensure that both parties understand the project clearly and can collaborate regularly throughout the project, as such good written and spoken English is a key requirement of this project.

Looking for schematic design and firmware programming for a single-cell LiPo fuel gauge. The circuit should use a MAX1704 as per the attached circuit, connected to an ATtiny44 with which the MAX should communicate over SPI. One red LED and 4 green LEDs connected directly to 5 of the ATtiny outputs, and a pushbutton switch on one input. Pressing the pushbutton should show the battery charge status for about 5 seconds, then switch all LEDs off. On power-on the battery charge status should also be shown for 5 seconds.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in C/C++ development;
Knowledge of Linux programming;

Good OOP knowledge and design patterns

Experience with embedded systems based ARM architectures

We are trying to measure water flow using a hall effect water flow sensor and need to count pulses and issue an interrupt when a specific count is reached. We want to use T/C 5 on the Atmega 2560 MCU.
The code we have written has been unreliable. It works perfvectly sometimes but not other times and on one of our systems it has completely failed and we are no longer able to count pulses at all. We are turning valves on and off to mix water and chemical in specific quantities and ratios and each mix requires multiple bursts of chemical and water and ongoing measurments until the batch is complete. We measure water flow at the end of each burst of flow. (Only measuring water this way. Chemical is being measured using a different approach.)
We need someone to write reliable, consistant, C++ code for managing the Timer/Counter #5 on the Atmega 2560 MCU in keeping count of Hall-effect pulses
