I finished writing a prescriptive non-fiction book (also called educational) with a strong medical bent. Generally, books in this category in audio come off as boring and uninteresting because they are fact-laden. For example, VangoNotes for Prentice Hall Reviews & Rationales: Pharmacology, 2/e has two very talented narrators with strong radio voices, but significant mispronunciation because of a lack of understanding the medical jargon's idiosyncratic pronunciation. I wanted to give it a shot and try reading my own book, I have a Yeti microphone and a Blue Snowball and can provide audio, but I need someone to go with me on this journey providing feedback on the tenor of the material. The book is interspersed with narrative (a little like creative non-fiction) but I just wanted to see who's out there. I've attached a recording of one summary section of the chapter to help the student memorize a drug class. There isn't really a good "producer/director" choice so I put the audio engineering / mastering as choices, but I really need a director/producer.

Backing Tracks mixed for live bands, and Automation needed. NOTE: this may require two separate contractors. One for developing the automation, and one to do this mixing. Therefore please apply if you can: o Mix and program automation o Mix but not program automation o Program automation but not mix. Overall Requirements We require a bulk mix of backing tracks that are designed for our live bands to use. This is very process driven project, and does not require much creativity, so please be aware of that before you take on the job. As it requires a lot of very specific processes completed accurately, I think we need someone that can automate parts of this project (especially the bounce down of different versions of the tracks.) The key skills required are: Efficiency in using your preferred DAW (Ideally pro tools) Ability to make quick changes in order to optimise each track for live use. Ability to very precisely follow instructions A good library of digital instrument samples, including realistic sounding brass. A fast and stable computer. A very fast internet connection, and a knowledge of how to use Google Drive This is an ongoing job, so we need someone that is efficient in doing a great job. Specific Requirements Preparing the project for reasons that will be apparent later, we advise that you work from a pre-made project template, whcih contains all the settings that you will need. We will provide multi tracks of backing tracks that will be used live in WAV format. These must first be saved with the project file name in the format: [Songname] - [Artistname]. e.g. ‘I’m Still Standing - Elton John’ 2. You must ensure that this is correct as per the official song title and the correct spelling of the artist name. We need each track to then be listened through, and to ensure that they are appropriate for live use. This includes ensuring that there are no fade out endings, that there is a consistent, or easy to follow click track etc. We may at this stage have provided some simple edits for you to make, for example ‘cut the outro in half’. you should carry these out. If the track contains brass instruments, and we have provided you with brass MIDI files, you should load these in, and use a digital brass sample program to replace the brass that already exists on the track. If you notice anything on the track that sounds particularly bad, you are able to advise on some changes that you could make, and we will either sign these changes off, or not. You will create a click track that is consistent with our other tracks for the project. This must be an easy to hear and comfortable sound for live drummers to play along to. The click track must have two bars of click for the intro. In the intro there must also be the song name stated (you can use a computer voice generator to generate a sound file for the name) and also count in the ‘1 2 3 4’ of the second bar of intro click. The voice generator must also a ‘4 3 2 1’ in the last bar of the song. 3. You will then mix the audio levels and Eq the track, for live use. 4. You will then bounce the track out in various pre-defined keys (by using an tuning plugin), and also a variety of different instrument line ups. (there will be 5 different keys required, and 8 different line up options, which means 40 mixes in total) In all tracks the click will be on the left channel, and a mono mix of the backing track will be on the right channel. this step will need to be automated, perhaps by using buses. These tracks MUST be a consistent volume so that when the acts perform them live, there is not a large inconsistency in the volume of the tracks. These mixes will be provided in high quality .mp3 files, and each mix will contain a consistent file name structure. ------- We will want to carry out a test of 5 tracks with you to see the speed and accuracy/quality of the work. ---- This is a very complicated process, which needs careful consideration about how we approach it. Therefore you will need to discuss the project with us before deciding to take on the job.

Hi. I am looking for a composer/musician to create a short (5-10 seconds) intro to a podcast I’m launching that will reinforce a sophisticated and modern brand, for a fast-paced company. I am looking for a piece with energy and momentum that mixes modern and classical elements. I would like to start the process off by having a conversation either over this weekend or Monday/ Tuesday (Feb 8 or 9th) to discuss the podcast and how the music will compliment the overall theme of the podcast. I have samples of music I would like you to draw inspiration from as you begin creating music. I look forward to hearing from you.

I need editing to be done to songs. Instead of songs just transitioning into each other, I need more of "mash up" of songs. I'll give you a bunch of example of videos that you can watch and listen to in order to get some sort of idea of what I'm talking about. You can just think of it as a song with beats we can choreograph something to.
