I have 6 engineering models of machines that I need the geometry retopolgized for use in Unreal Engine. Need the geometry cleaned up to reduce poly count and uv maps added to specific parts. Create a 3D model - Lamborghini Gallardo Props are what bring a 3D environment to life, making it appear "lived in". For example, a seedy alleyway with nothing in it would appear very artificial - but cram it with stacks of old newspapers, garbage bins, discarded sheet metal and flaming barrels and your environment comes to life. There is no poly count limit - just use as many as you think you need keeping in mind the silhouette. Consideration should be given to the topology of your model as well, keep the flow of polygons tidy. The model should be UV Unwrapped in a tidy manner, minimising stretching and seams with individual UV islands scaled appropriately based on their required resolution. Deliverables Maya File of 1 x 3D Model (The model should be UV Unwrapped) Reference Photos (At least a front and side image) Assessment Criteria Accuracy of model against the reference photo (Does it look like the thing it is meant to be?) Polygon Usage (Did you need more polys? Have you used more than you needed?) Topology (How well are the polygons distributed, how well do they flow?) Quality of UV Unwrap (Are there lots of seams? Lots of stretching? Are the UV islands scaled appropriately?) Reference image of blueprint has been attached.
