Let us introduce ourselves. Megafive is made up of five guys who have been working on major studio movies for the last few years doing production, pre-vis, and compositing and have just started breaking out to make our own projects. We are currently making an animated music video for Lindsey Stirling. The project is premiering on Augusts 28th, so we are in crunch time to get our remaining animation done in the next two weeks. We are looking for more 3D Maya animators. Our whole team is working on their off hours and weekends and so we are paying per shot with 3 tiers for difficulty. We don't have the biggest budget, but we are working really hard to make sure everyone is paid fairly: $50.00 for easy shots (single character, limited frames) $110.00 for medium shots (two character or less, more frames) $180.00 for hard shots (two or more characters, large frame count) variable pricing for especially hard shots Here's our look dev test to get a peek at what we're going for...

I want to establish a budget ( time & money ) for the creation of animated sequences lasting ca. 30 seconds each, for a total of 20 such animations ( 10 minutes in all). These animations will involve 2 avatars ( see www.vicsgames.com & ww.12N.com ) playing daily-life routines in an apartment building context. The avatars exist ( Autodesk Maya ) but will need some remodelling.
