I'm looking to modify an Avaya IPO system that's already in place. Specifically, Night Mode.
As of now, when our receptionist activates night mode and someone calls, none of the phones ring and the auto attendant picks up and delivers a message saying to press 1 to leave a voice mail.
What we would like to have happen is:
1. Receptionist activates night mode
2. Have any incoming calls ring on ever phone on our network.
3. After a period of 6-10 seconds of no one answering, the auto attendant picks up the call.
4. From there, we would have it play a message stating that we are unavailable and press 1 to leave a general voice mail or if they know the extension number of the person they are trying to reach, they can input it and it will ring that specific phone, where they will have the option to leave a voicemail for that specific person. The concept seems doable, I am just unaware of the limitations to the IPO system as I remember seeing this message when reading through...
