We are a small publisher who develop small children's books and we are looking for a illustrator. You will be recognized on the books as the illustrator along with the author. These are simple illustrations and can be done by hand or with a computer. We can pay by the hour or by the book. Most books will be about 25 to 35 pages so require approximately 25 to 35 illustrations of the same characters just in different situations.
Once completed Mendon Cottage would own the artwork to update and distribute but give you credit on the books
The attached files are possible books that need illustrations. Grandpa's wonderful cow needs illustrations done to replace some of the rough sketches.

Jimmy Goes To The Dentist
Jimmy has a loose tooth.
He wiggled and wiggled it, but it wouldn't come out.
Jimmy's mama told him she was going to take him to the dentist.
He was scared and didn't want to go.
Jimmy thought, if I pull my tooth I won't have to go to the dentist.
So Jimmy tried all day to pull his tooth.
When Jimmy watched TV, he wiggled his tooth.
While he played with his dog, he wiggled his tooth.
Jimmy even ate an apple, hoping his tooth would come out with his first bite.
When he took his bath, he still tried to pull his tooth.
As Jimmy lay in his bed he moved his tooth back and forth.
Before Jimmy fell asleep, he thought maybe my tooth will fall out in the morning.
Morning came and Jimmy jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror.
He was sad because his tooth was still there.
He knew he had to go to the dentist.
Jimmy wiggled his tooth all the way to the dentist.
When Jimmy and his mama pulled up to the dentist office, Jimmy cried out, "please don't make me go in there!"
Jimmy's mama told him, It will be okay, there is nothing to be afraid of.
As Jimmy and his mama sat in the waiting room, he couldn't stop wiggling his tooth.
When the nurse called Jimmy's name he sat very still thinking no one would see him.
Jimmy's mama told him to go with the nurse.
The nurse sat Jimmy up in the chair and told him the dentist would be right in.
Jimmy wiggled in the chair instead of wiggling his tooth.
The dentist came in and said "Hey Jimmy!"
He told Jimmy to sit back and open his mouth wide.
Jimmy was so scared but he did what the dentist told him to do.
The dentist said, "All done." and showed Jimmy his tooth.
Jimmy could not believe the dentist had already pulled his tooth.
The dentist told Jimmy what a big boy he was and how brave he had been.
"It didn't even hurt," Jimmy said happily.
The nurse gave Jimmy a new toothbrush and toothpaste.
Jimmy couldn't wait to tell his mama that she was right and there was no reason to be afraid.
As Jimmy came back into the waiting room, he ran to his mama, smiling ear to ear, and showed her his tooth.
He said, "you were right! It wasn't nothing to be afraid of."
When Jimmy got home, he started wiggling his tooth. He couldn't wait to go back to the dentist.
