I want to be able to create destructible 2D terrain, similar to one in the worms series. This must be implemented using libGDX's java box2d-wrapper. The following use case must be covered: 1. A given (most likely static) body with a polygon fixture is hit by an object. 2. The polygon deforms according to the power of the impact, for example by building holes. Similar to this example: 3. If the polygon is split in two or more polygons, the fixtures should be attached to new bodies, so that gravity can be applied to loose parts. Please see this sketch for more clarity: As a result of this collaboration I expect well performing, written and documented Java code, embedded in an Android Studio sample project.
