We have an open source qt-based cross-platform aplication that use qtWebKit for rendering GUI, it works fine but on MacOS retina it looks blure and big, need to enable HiDPI mode. sources could be found here: http://213.239.213.237/lui2-master.zip dependencies: qt5, cmake, xcode build instructions: for xcode: cmake -G Xcode -D BUILD_GUI=TRUE -D CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/Users/your_name/Qt5.5.0/5.5/clang_64 .. or use batch from: utils/build_script_mac_osx.sh (but fix paths in it before run) The work considered done if i have a "todo" instructions how to enable HiDPI mode, that works. More about HiDPI on QT: http://blog.qt.io/blog/2013/04/25/retina-display-support-for-mac-os-ios-and-x11/

I have an app that gets take an url and a list. The application sends a request to a url and when it's returned, it checked the html for items in the list. The website I am hitting seems to enabled rate limiting which produces a 429 response more often than I would like. What I want is for someone to implement a feature that allows me to use proxies and switch proxies when it encounters a 429 reponse. I also am willing to hear suggestions to avoid the 429 response. I have the source code available from the previous developer who created the application.
Skills: C++

The app contains the following features: - Log In, Sign Up or Browse Mode; - User creates a Sign Up using an Email or Facebook; - The entire backend will be created in Parse, including storage of the account emails; - Account Emails sent from the app (such as “Welcome” or “Click link to validate account”) will be delivered via SendGrid or MailGun - A 2-page website for verifying accounts and resetting passwords is required (no images or css required) - The app will de-emphasize design and layout to focus on user experience, in particular flow & way finding - unit test are a requirement What does the app do? The app does nothing at all - except log a YES or a NO count. If the user taps YES or NO, the count is incremented. The Logs screen (tab) displays the total count for Yes taps and No taps.
