We need help developing on an STM32. We are used to using atmel microcontrollers and it is slow for us to start on an STM32 arm microcontroller. We're using keil and a dev board and want to start developing for SPI, DMA, an ADC algorithm and also porting over code that was written for an atmel MCU. We need an experts help that is willing to help us develop snippets of code, analyze the datasheet/reference and get passed the learning curve faster. You'd be asked to work on chat or Skype with us. We work on eastern standard time from about 10:30am to 2am. We'll need you to be available within that window, so if you're just waking up at midnight eastern standard time, it won't work for us. We're looking for a quote on a dynamic cellular video streaming protocol for reducing video transmission latency. We will be streaming critical video streaming data over a cellular network and we will be viewing this video through a custom program that we're creating through RTSP protocol. Since cellular data connections are not constant and the video data streaming is critical for our application, the goal of the project is to ensure that some type of video (or even chopped images that resemble 8-12 FPS video) are always streaming. The current equipment setup is: USB camera capable of 720P resolution > connected to Odroid Linux Computer > connected to Verizon or similar MiFi cellular mobile hotspot > the cellular network transmits this data back to us via a LAN connection > data can optionally get processed on an in-house server > data is transmitted to the workstation which is running the program with a window The video streamed is viewable by our program and we can expand or minimize the camera feed window(s) as needed. Currently we see video delays of 15-45 seconds depending on timing. Our target is as close to zero seconds as possible but we would be happy with a 5 second or better delay. The developer should at least know: -RTSP (Real-time streaming protocol) Streams -Video encoders (with variable input, such as fps/bitrate/resolution) -Video compression (might actually be a part of the encoder depending on the type of encoding used) The target completion time is 10 weeks I know that the goal (deliverable) is vague, but just to reiterate we need a dynamically changing system that will accept the video data, possibly compress it and send it over the cellular network in a way that is consistent with the current bandwidth and provide us with a stream that we can view in our program. The goal is not only transmission time reduction but also to ensure that we're always getting some sort of imagery (HD video is great but single compressed photos in a stream are a minimum). You have the freedom to add any code or compression technique to the Odroid processing computer and if you have any freedom to add code to our Linux server. If you happen to think there is a benefit to adding code to our Windows based viewing laptop that's okay too.
