My husband and I and 2 our 2 sons recently moved to Madison, CT from Huntington Beach, CA and just bought a colonial house, with a closing date of March 25. The house needs quite a bit of renovating work, and I need some help pulling it all together. I have a floor plan, a list of priorities, and lots of ideas, but I need recommendations and feedback from someone who has lots of experience and ideas of their own as far as interior design, construction, paint, flooring, etc. I will need a plan/layout in which I can plug in our ideas and play with/change the paint colors, flooring, fabrics, etc. (Maybe I could purchase whatever interior design software you have so I can view your plans - if it’s not too expensive???) My favorite design style is Tuscan/Old World, with lots of warm colors. I have a lot of renovating that needs done, so I need a very affordable plan. I’m not afraid to do a lot of the work myself (other than electrical, plumbing and construction). I grew up helping my dad with “fixer uppers”, but this mine & my husband’s first home purchase. Please send me a link to your work, and if you don’t like my price, please let me know what you think is a fair price for these ideas/plans. I look forward to hearing from you.
