Hi ... I'm a SciFi author and I'm incorporating 3D (Sketchpad) renditions of my spacecrafts onto my website. Already have other 2D crafts there now. This is an ongoing project and some ships are already (currently) being made by other artists/designers. These are space crafts talked about in my various books. I have a ton of these to do (30 or so) and I'm looking for excellent 'volume' pricing. Qualifications - must have portfolio of similar designs and have extensive 3D modeling experience and comfortable working with Substance Designer / Painter type programs. Looking for ultra-reality here. Many thanks. Note: This and all other 3D development services for Avenstar Productions, take place on a “work for hire” basis. The diagrams commissioned, will be utilized on my website and referenced by my books. In many cases, if not most, diagrams correlate to Avenstar Production’s pre-existing copyrighted artwork / material—written about or sketched out, or diagramed in 2D or 3D form. Although artistic credit most certainly will be given, upon payment, designs are the property of Avenstar Productions. Avenstar Production may alter the diagrams or add to them as the company see’s fit. All developmental files need to be delivered to Avenstar Productions when final payments are provided. Chances are, Avenstar will come back to contractors who previously worked on a particular diagram.

We are looking for a Solidworks or other CAD professional to render both STEP files and PDF mechanical drawings for 28+ parts we are looking to have drawn. For each part, we will need both. I would like to break the parts in to shorter runs of 8-10 parts. I would like each run to be completed in 5-7 days. Please see attached for a PDF example of what we are looking for. This document represents the PDF deliverable for each part. Most parts will look very similar to this, although some will vary in form factor. The part, screws and packaging all need to be detailed in the PDF per this example. In addition to the PDF, I will need the .SLDPRT, .STEP and .SLDDRW files for each part. I have the parts boxed, labeled and ready for shipment anywhere in the world. This will be one of several runs of part drawings. Please let me know should you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hourly - Intermediate ($$) - Est. Time: More than 6 months, 30+ hrs/week - Posted -- a small and fast growing provider of office furniture and related services to corporate America - seeks an individual with the ability to interpret, create, and produce. We are currently seeking the services one disciplined individual to join our team of space planners to assist our in-house design and sales teams. POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a space planner you will work hand in hand with our design team assisting in our effort to engage and win prospective clients. The majority of your time will typically be spent in the 2D realm. While in the 2D universe you will create unified design solutions specifically as it relates to the placement of office furniture (cubicles, desks, reception, conference, seating, etc.) relative to existing walls, shafts, etc. coupled with customer dictates and organizational workflows. Those who excel at this process have a keen eye on product selection, its cost and resale pricing. 3D presentation renderings, while an important part of our bid packages, will not typically be the primary focus of your work. You will work with raw open spaces as well as fully developed architectural plans. In other words, sometimes you will add building elements (walls, windows, convectors); sometimes they will already be there. You will assist in interpreting the client needs and wants in the broader context of their space, time and budgetary realities. In other words you’ll work hard to figure out how to fit 10 kilo’s in a 5 kilo sack, how to get it done yesterday and at the sharpest price point.

CAD to CAM for a complex shape, with focus on efficiency/speed and detail. Mix of raster, cut out and pocket tool paths. Starting from ipt or stp, creating gcode. With simulation so we can estimate actual cutting times. The part will have to be flipped because we are working with a simple 3-axis machine called Shopbot Alpha. We have already done some work in a program called PowerMill Pro 2016. So if you have experience using this program, this would be a big plus. Alternatively, if you can load code/models created by this program, and then work from it, this is also very good. Work also requires occasionally designing peg-board style jigs for holding the part in place. Thank you!
