We run a backpackers' hostel and would like to design a travelers' map of Rwanda in general and Kigali, the capital city in particular. All streets are already numbered on Google map but we need to highlight key tourist sights and attractions including markets, bus stations, restaurants, museums, banks, stores etc.

Background: Dolphin Creative is an event company producing public festivals Dubai Marina Festival is a street theatre festival stretching along approx 3 km of marina promenade in Dubai. Along the 3km promenade will be stages, decor, workshops, exhibitions, food and beverage outlets, admin tents, power access, references to local restaurants, access roads. We need a ‘map’ of this path/walkway so we can start to plan the festival layout Over the last few years we have been trying to adapt a google map, but this has not worked for a number of reasons. Now we are looking for a fresh approach to solve this challenge: 1) The map does not need to be like a traditional map; it can be a representation. Eg” London Tube Map 2) The path is narrow and 3 km will is a long space for 1 piece of paper. We’re looking for a solution where we can ‘zoom in and out’ along the festival path. 3) The map needs to be able to be adapted to share with the public. This can be either physical and or on screen. 4) We’re only focused on the path and the immediate area around the path. The rest of the buildings and roads are superfluous. We want to create the map in stages: Get the outline of the path with a basic key of 100m For my team to print the pages and then write on the pages where each elements would appear on the map Scan the pages and send back to make better graphics on the map. Repeat process until map is complete Format map so it can be a pullout section in the festival programme. Be a map that we can put on the festival App Before we start on the map, we would like to confirm how best to create the map, and on what format/software. We are not expert in graphical formats, so we’re looking for advice References: The start of the path is at:,55.1489395,398m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x24f176d835a166fa!8m2!3d25.0846029!4d55.1482505?hl=en The end of the path is at:,55.1338866,398m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x3631c37de0364ffe!8m2!3d25.0713902!4d55.1338658?hl=en Link to previous map attempt: Requirements from freelancer: Someone able to communicate well in English Someone with a practical mind, good at solving problems Someone with good graphic designs skills Someone with excellent knowledge of graphical software and formats Someone within a 4 hour timezone of GMT+3 Ideally someone who has done a similar project to this

I run a company Digital Economy Group ( and use an app to prepare reports for our clients (GoMobile Network Test - Android and Apple). I want to create a map environment that combines Cell tower locations with the test results and other digital infrastructure layers. I will want to be able to have a public access version showing high level anonymous information and then also an access based system for clients an prospective clients where greater detailed information is available and their own test results are represented. I want to encourage download and use of the App through gamification to drive the number of public test results - Crowd sourcing I want to be able to regularly draw down from the carrier sites (and prepare for the web map and associated databases for sql interrogation). Future versions of this initiative will show specific spectrum classes art a site and use Terrain and analysis to derive potential coverage. Radio licenses are placed at a specific height on a tower and project in a particular direction with a limited angle of projection. We will need to use tailored icons to represent all of these elements and their respective coverage. We will use several hold points with the work (All to be completed on the DEG MapBox account and website) to ensure we complete each stage of work and release for testing and market success. The full total project will run over a 3-6 month period and has a budget to reflect the level of effort and technical skills required. To begin with I need to find the suitably qualified Upworker. I want to know who can do the following and what cost it will be: Create a Mapbox environment that is published to my website on a [Mapboxtest] page (Desktop, Tablet and Mobile responsive) and uses the whole screen ( that is: * centered on Australia * has a floating legend with ability to toggle on and off the layers * * Local government boundaries - or * Funded Mobile Black Spots * Community Identified Mobile Black Spots * a menu offering layers such as contact, data sources, disclaimer

I would like to display an inverted map (rotated 180 degrees) of the United States in my living room. I have not been able to find any suitable product. The only real requirement I have is that the map be of sufficient resolution for a large poster, or perhaps even a small wall mural. This is for personal residential use, so I can be pretty flexible on all details. I would like to do something with a bit of an antique feel; the room it will go in has a 70's feel, and I will provide an image of the room. So I'm hoping whoever I hire can help match it to the room. Also, I have some data points I'd like to highlight. My hometown, places I've lived or vacationed, etc. Update: Here is an example map type I like. If that conflicts with having a more old-fashioned feel, then I would rather have it look like this, I just don't want to to be so modern it clashes with the room: The price listed is an estimate. Feel free to bid it down or explain why it should be higher :D

I need a map developed for the city of Huntsville in Alabama. The map needs to be broken down by zip code. Also the map needs to have a layer added to it that breaks down the school zones for all zip codes in Huntsville. The map needs to be zoom-able and also include the median price point for single family home sales in each zip code within the past 6 months. Also included in the map should be the average days on market for all single family homes in each zip code within the city of Huntsville. This map will be used for quick deal evaluation in my real estate business.
