Three VFX sequences for Biblical documentary entitled RIDDLE OF THE EXODUS.
Here are the specs for each sequence:
Running time - 10 seconds
Frame rate - 24 FPS,
Resolution - at least 2K (2048×1556) for possible theatrical presentation.
Audio - None
Delivery Format: MPEG 4, MOV or AVI
Shooting style will be panoramic, wide-screen with an epic feel. The footage should be photo-real as possible but can look very atmospheric (dramatic lighting, boiling clouds, stormy weather, where needed. Shots can either be locked or sweeping aerial type sequences, I will leave that to your discretion.
Here are descriptions of the three sequences I'm hoping you can produce:
(1) Slaves Working
Thousands of Hebrew slaves working in the hot desert sun. One large team tugs on thick, lengthy ropes as they pull giant slabs of stone on wooden sleds. Another gang of workers are perched on shaky, wooden scaffolding, next to a high wall being built with bricks and mortar. Overseers stand nearby with whips, some might be using the whips on a worker here and there.
(2) Drowning in the Reed Sea
At the top of the frame, we see thick, dark churning storm clouds as the sun is just peeking through. Under this torrential canopy, lightning darts across the sky over a clear dry path through the middle of the Sea, on each side are icy walls of water that are rapidly melting. The water is collapsing onto the center of the path, sweeping away Egyptian chariots, horses and foot soldiers in a roiling, deadly torrents of water.
(3)The Exodus Begins
Under a brilliant blue sky, with a few clouds, we see an orderly march of thousands of Hebrews, their livestock and pack animals departing the ruins of Egyptian palaces and mud homes, in the distance behind them.
