Hello, I am looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual who pays close attention to detail. I am looking for a tool to help me with my research. The tool will need to be a chrome extension and will follow the workflow set out below. 1. I will visit argos.co.uk or any of the 15 websites below. 2. I will navigate to a page with multiple products on. 3. Once on the desired page, I will click on the chrome extension you will create. 4. The extension will now search amazon.co.uk for every single product on the page I am currently on. It will return information on each product such as the title on the retailer site, price on the retail site, e.g argos.co.uk, the price on amazon.co.uk, if amazon sell it themselves the amazon price, the best seller rank, the ASIN number, the category the product is in, the FBA fees using the FBA calculator - https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/hz/fba/profitabilitycalculator/index?lang=en_GB Finaly, it will need to calculate if there is a profit or loss by adding up the price on amazon.co.uk minus the retailer price minus the FBA fees. To explain the functionality in more detail please see below; The project itself is to build me a tool very similar to this one - www.oaxray.com You can see a video of what this tool does and how it works here - https://youtu.be/pnSUnfemoDA This is another video of someone explaining how they use the oaxray tool - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQE4xNsi9QY I must make clear that I do not own OAXray. Basically, I want you to build a similar tool just with a few differences. The first difference is the websites this tool must support 1. www.argos.co.uk 2. www.tesco.com 3. www.george.com 4. www.smythstoys.com 5. www.tkmaxx.com 6. www.homebargains.co.uk 7. www.toysrus.co.uk 8. www.ebay.co.uk 9. www.very.co.uk 10. www.elc.co.uk 11. www.currys.co.uk 12. www.ebuyer.com 13. www.littlewoods.com 14. www.asda.co.uk 15. robertdyas.co.uk The tool must support the above websites. I would also like the opportunity to add sites in the future. The next difference is the tool needs to pull the data from amazon.co.uk NOT amazon.com Naturally when the tool is working out the profit it will need to all be in £ (GBP) using this calculator integrated into the tool -https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/hz/fba/profitabilitycalculator/index?lang=en_GB Please ensure you will be willing to help me with any queries and adjustments to the tool for 1 month, 30 days after the completion of the tool. Many thanks for reading my post and I look forward to working with you. If you have any questions or wish further information please contact me. In Summary the applicant who is chosen will also have the opportunity of future work, by updating the websites.

I currently use www.vendhq.com as my point of sale. One of the limitations that the point of sale has is that it does not allow multiple barcodes per product. In fact, there are very few systems within a reasonable price range that have such a feature. The reason I need to have multiple barcodes per product are as follows: Use case 1 - We are in the pharmacy sector. - Products such as paracetamol have many manufacturers. - We want to group all sales as one product because when we order, we always order the cheapest. Use case 2 - Since we are in the EU, we are legally allowed to sell products from other countries. - The packaging of these products is the same but the barcode is different. - We want to track sales of the product no the country of origin. In order to circumvent the issue that i am experiencing, I have discussed with Vend that the best solution is twofold: 1. Set up products in Vend as follows:
- Keeping the parent product to be used purely as a category.
- Then the variants changing the SKU to the barcode of the product. - An example is attached. You will note that for the parent product the handle and SKU are the same and then for each of the barcodes, the handle is the same as the parent product but the SKU is each barcode. 2. Create a Chrome extension to modify the search box on the Vend sale screen (NOTE THAT THIS IS THE NEW WEBREGISTER SCREEN). The idea of the extension should be that when the product is scanned using the barcode/variant, the parent product should be added to the sale. It is the 2nd part of the solution that I need help with. In terms of resources to see how to accomplish the job: 1. Vend Client API reference - https://developers.vendhq.com/documentation/client/index.html 2. Vend login details: dataupdates.vendhq.com / Username: dataupdates@mylocalchemist.biz / Password: upwork 3. Webregister - https://dataupdates.vendhq.com/webregister/

Porting our browser automation scripts to a chrome extension: We're trying to port our ruby dsl (watir-webdriver gem) to pure js so that it can run in a browser extension. The code is all functional, it's just recipes for how to browse a site, collect data, do basic analysis, fill out and submit forms. So it should be pretty straightforward to translate to js, but our developer has not worked a lot with js recently and is not super familiar with the js DOM api. We could use someone whose fluent in client-side js to help code the extension. Knowledge of Ruby is not really necessary, as our developer can describe what the code is doing in detail.

http://www.themooltipass.com The Mooltipass is an offline password keeper, connected to the computer using a USB connection and communicating with Google Chrome through its chrome.hid API. The Mooltipass solution on the computer side therefore consists of a Chrome App (in charge of the communications) and a Chrome Extension (in charge of detecting credential fields). As we're constantly trying to improve our chrome extension and app, we'd be interested in hiring more people to work on them. Our current source code can be found at https://github.com/limpkin/mooltipass For this position, your tasks will include: - improving the algorithm to detect credential fields in the extension - implementing backend communication using local sockets - adding new features to our app Your first tasks will be: I) Chrome App - Device Settings Tab: This tab aims at customizing the settings of each Mooltipass device. Depending on the Mooltipass device and the firmware version running on it, new settings may be available to the user. Currently, the settings (and their values) are only set for the Mooltipass standard version, running a "v1" firmware. Here are therefore the changes to make: - query the mooltipass version number after a connection event, change the settings page accordingly Changes (or rather additions) for a v1.1 firmware: - add a ticking box to enable/disable a key press after a manual login send - add a list to select which key is pressed after a manual login send - add a ticking box to enable/disable a key press after a manual password send - add a list to select which key is pressed after a manual password send - add a list to select the delay (in ms) added after each key press (text to be written "(for slow devices) Ms delay after each key press") - add new keyboard layouts inside the current list (different mac layouts, dvorak....) These settings should be sent and queried to/from the device using the standard get/set parameters commands. The Mooltipass type and its version may be queried by sending this packet: https://github.com/limpkin/mooltipass/tree/master/source_code/src/USB#0xa2-version-request . The standard Mooltipass will answer "v1" or "v1.1" while the mini will answer "mini_v1.1". II) General device behaviour - Request canceling feature 1) On the App, after a device connection event, the App is querying the USER_REQ_CANCEL_PARAM parameter of the device. Currently, if it is set to anything else than FALSE, the device will then set it to FALSE again. We need a different behaviour: - if the firmware version is "v1" then the same behaviour is kept - however if the firmware version is "v1.1" or "mini_v1.1" then it should set this parameter to TRUE if it is current set to FALSE 2) When the extension detects credential fields, it will automatically send a "get credentials for website" request to the app. In case the user ignores the request on the device and closes the tab, the request is still staying on the Mooltipass screen. For mooltipass devices having a "v1.1"/"mini_v1.1" or above firmware, the extension needs to detect a tab close or URL change, send a message to the app which will then check if the request is still pending on the device and then send a packet to cancel it. The "onRemoved" function of the chrome api (https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/tabs) should be used, together with the cancel request packet (https://github.com/limpkin/mooltipass/tree/master/source_code/src/USB#0xc3-cancel-user-request). Note: the cancel request packet won't have a reply when a request is in progress, it will just trigger the request answer. 3) Disable the detect credentials event which is created when clicking on a tab containing credential fields
