We are a Canadian-based company and we are launching a new hair care line. As ecommerce will be a primary sales channel and we anticipate our main markets to be Canada & US, we would like to ensure that our package labels are compliant with the regulations in both countries.
In order to qualify for this job, you must have a THOROUGH understanding of all regulatory frameworks surrounding consumer goods & cosmetics labeling.
In Canada, this would include the Consumer Package and Labeling Act as well as Health Canada's Cosmetics programs. In the US, this would include the FDA/FDC&A, Fair Packaging & Labeling Act. There are others, if this is your area of expertise, then we trust you already know what these are.
If you have familiarity filling out Cosmetic Notification Forms for Health Canada, that's a bonus (we are currently in production and aiming for a Dec. 15th launch date). But we will use your help again with filing the CNFs for our products (5 total) when the time comes.
This is a 2-part project:
1) Review and approve the copy for the labels (5 SKUs - much of the information is repetitive on all 5 products).
2) Once our designer has finalized the design proofs, you will again review and approve that everything meets regulatory standards.
We would prefer to pay a fixed fee, so please provide us with a fixed rate for your services, separately for each part of this project. In total, we don't believe this would take more than 2-3 hours' time (max), as mentioned the products are very similar in terms of their description, ingredients, etc. Also, we have done extensive research on our own and believe we have everything covered. So we're really just looking for an expert to go over everything and make sure we've got it all covered.
We thank all candidates who apply to this post, but will only contact those we feel are a good fit for the job at hand.
All the best!
