I'm looking for or guitarists with experience in playing chords, including barre chords who can check the fingering of around 1600 chords in Excel. All the data such as chord name, 6 x frets, and two different finger alternatives for 6 strings are provided, so minimal data entry is required. Ideally you will know how to use the default filters in Excel to find matching strings for a highlighted row in the column "Smallest Moveable Shape". I can explain this more later to the successful applicant. I have an MS Excel sheet that looks something like this: Chord Name, Fret Positions (6x) (Ft), True Finger Positions (6x): (Fg), Predicted Finger Positions (6 x) (Fp) Em(maj7/9), 7-9-5-8-x-x, 2-3-1-4-x-x, 2-4-1-3-x-x A7, 3-4-2-2-2-3, 5-2-1-1-1-3, 2-4-1-1-1-3 Am13, 12-12-10-12-12-14, 5-5-1-3-3-4, 2-2-1-3-3-4 A6, 5-9-x-9-x-9, 1-3-x-3-x-3, 1-3-x-4-x-4 Legend: 1=index, 2=middle finger, 3=ring finger, 4=pinky, 5=thumb Your job is to pick the easiest of the 2 fingering options (Fg headers or Fp headers) or find something that is easier to play if none of the two options are suitable. The first option is called the True fingering, and the second option is the Predicted fingering. I want the 6 fields in the True fingering to be the optimal ones, so this is where you should make the corrections. Often you can copy the columns from the Predicted fingering into the True fingering, once you have verified that it is indeed the easiest fingering to use. Often True fingering has a typo in it, but sometimes it is easier to play than the Predicted fingering. You need to check each row individually. Sometimes the mistake (typo) is obvious, but other times you will have to get your guitar out and strum the chord and try the two alternatives. There may be an overabundance of using the thumb in some chords. If possible try to use other fingers, and only use the thumb where absolutely necessary. At any time feel free to add comments or questions in a new column (eg "Comments") for any chord row and I will check them. Perhaps you think it is impossible to play, or you have a suggestion of which string can be muted, while still maintaining the character of the chord, or maybe the stretches required are much too large, so you want to suggest using a different fret. This can go into the comment column before making any changes to the frets. I may also soon be able to get you a great visual aid as a pdf, so that you can see the diagram of both options side by side, so that you can quickly be fingering the chords, instead of trying to slowly gather the frets you need to play. Please do not delete any rows, for any reason, even for duplicate rows or alternative chord names using the same fingering. This data is only a small part and needs to slot back in perfectly, row for row, with a larger chord database. I will take care of any duplication issues then. Currently, I am waiting for two people to get me the Excel file and the chord diagrams so the work will be very easy. Hopefully I should be able to get that in a few days, but also have a backup plan of getting you the current Excel file I have if I don't get any notice from my employees. I need you to be able to commit to finishing the work in a 1-2 weeks once you receive the files and to communicate with me around 2-3 times per week, especially in the beginning so I can see how you are progressing and can provide guidance. You may need to send me various updates so that I can check during the week if you are on the right track.

I have a few examples of the videos I want to be created and I will show you if I feel your credentials are able to do this. We are a small company so budget is a variable and speed is is necessary (1-2 videos a week). We want to give you complete creative control and the pay would be $50 per 20 - 40 second video. The pay is likely to increase but when awareness on our social media increases it is highly likely that we would give you the credit you deserve for being a part of our social media fun. Although you will mainly only be working with me, we are a family business and your videos will be shown to the entire company. It is a consistent way for you to be receiving income as fast as you want. You are completely allowed to be turning in as many videos as you want, as fast as you want (upon my approval of each) and receiving compensation for each. Creativity, Sound editing, video editing, and an ear for beats/rhythm.
