I am looking for someone to replicate a sign I have on the front of our Bed & Breakfast for display on the side of the property. A photo of the existing sign is attached. I am looking for the sign to be 42" x 30" and artwork / colors to match the existing sign. This sign will be hung on the exterior of the house and will be exposed to the elements. Adding clarification: I am looking for a wooden sign to be produced for this project that I will hang on the side of our Bed & Breakfast. This is not just a design but a finished product. The design is basically the image attached.

Circuits and Shields is searching a skilled 2D concept artist to create concepts for our spells/abilities. Circuits is a MOBA style game similar to LoL/HotS/DotA, so familiarity with those games would help. Your task is to draw up rough concepts for each spell based on a description. These concepts will then be passed on to our VFX artist to make in-game. This is a paid position that is paid per champion done (usually 5-6 spells). Your work will be translated in-game by a AAA-quality VFX Artist, so this is a great opportunity to have your work featured in a high quality game. You can find out more about us at Here's some examples of what we're looking for: If you do not have existing examples of this type of work, I will require an art test.

I am in the process of putting a children's book together. The content is very innovative, and I envision the illustration to be full of rich and bold colors, detailed expressions of children's faces, beautiful scenic imagery of various environments. The premise of the book is to expose young minority boys to various career choices, so as they grow, they at least can have an idea of what field they may want to explore as an adults. So I want the imagery to almost take them on a journey, 3-d like, to different scenes of different occupations. Each page welcoming them into another phase of the journey. There is an additional story line that flows throughout the book as well. But I'd like to work with someone who is highly skilled, highly creative, and either shares this passion or highly respects it. If this is you, let's chat. This is my first book, so this process itself will be new to me. So I'm open to discuss customized working options. Mike

We are in pre-production on a short film that includes significant science-fiction elements. We are hoping to find someone who has an interest in designing a small, robot character, among other props/items. We're not looking for more than a day's commitment, as the art itself is not the final form of the various items. Job can be done remotely. Back-and-forth communication is perfectly fine.

I'm needing someone who is able to illustrate/design 100 different types of cards for a card game I'm creating (like Dominion or Thunderstone if you've ever played one of those games). I haven't decided on the style of the illustration so I'm open to your personal style. It's going to be more serious so it won't be cartoon like. The first thing will be developing what the actual game card looks like (where the title goes, the image, the cost, how much it's worth, the action text, the type, etc.). After we agree on this, then I'll send you a list of cards which will explain what to put on it and what the image will be for the image spot on the card. Please send over examples of your work and the different styles you could do this in. Also, please send your quote for doing 100 cards. I've attached an image of what sample cards look like from a similar game. Just so you can get a feel for what is required.

This is a re-post. Still looking for the right artist. Attention Talented Artists: You must know superhero comics. Poses, action, sequential storytelling, drama, facial expressions, exaggeration and anatomy. The art of creating something original means to step outside of the norm and rethink how visuals are represented. Rethink design, rethink your mind. We're looking to break the mold and we want to work with people that are willing to experiment and create something amazing. Having said that, we do have preferences on styles that we love from artists that have been published. We don't mind your style being inspired by someone else as long as it has a spin on it. If you're flexible with how pencils/inks are done, that is an added benefit. We're looking for an individual or art team to illustrate a graphic novel of approx 48 pages. Graphic Novel: Looking for full color but will consider black and white. It's not a superhero story as what you're accustomed to, but there are super powered beings in the story. It can be dark and poetic, broody, somewhat fun (It's mostly a drama), and epic in scope. Sci-fi and superhero fantasy are the genres, but not in the typical sense. If you like Silver Surfer or anything cosmic that takes place mostly on earth, than that's a start. We would prefer an artist have some range and not one particular style. Have comic book sensibilities but take the storytelling beyond that. It really helps that you are a fan of superhero comics whether from years ago or current. Being able to discuss the wants and don't wants make it that much more enjoyable. Art we love and wouldn't mind if yours is inspired by these artists are: Jae Lee, Olivier Coipel, Jim Lee, Greg Capullo, Frank Miller, James O'Barr, David Mack, Jock, JH Williams III, Clay Mann, and the list goes on and on. We're leaning toward a style with sharp line work and a heavier inking style, for a slightly darker mood. Colors should have photo real special effects at times, and most colors should be moody. We don't want to lose the beauty of the inks. We can discuss this to find a balance. We're not looking to mimic the colors of Marvel or DC, but some of their books really stand out. Please provide page rates for pencils, inks, colors, lettering. I would prefer to pay in Canadian dollars (US dollar is not an option due to the currency exchange). All images through various stages will need to be provided in hi res so we can print in standard comic size, oversized hardcover, and for digital publishing. Please have an updated portfolio with your sequential art. If you're an amateur artist that's needing a break, we'll consider your work. Though the story is 275 pages, we can begin in smaller quantities starting with a 48 page contract (more or less). Applicants are welcome from all over the world. Must have good communication skills, ability to understand direction, a positive attitude, ego in check, and ability to stick to a schedule. We've communicated with many artists and some really do not have the right attitude. Simple things like overlooking questions in an email or directions in a script can go wrong. It's really important that you get your communication and professionalism in order. We will consider all skill types as long as you are consistent. We're willing to give the right people a chance. PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE PER PROJECT. Thank you, LMG
