I'm a small demolition contractor in US. When I hear of a job opportunity, I need to estimate how much it will cost to complete the work - in less than 24 hours. I need someone with a keen eye for detailed engineering to do accurate "takeoff quantities." This means quickly (and precisely) taking dimensions and calculating volumes of architectural elements (from drawings) to be removed in demolition. Use drawings to inform estimated work, i.e. "5,000 sqft of 6" reinforced concrete slab," or "10,000 lf of brick exterior wall 9 inches think and 40' high."
