I need at least one freelancer (possibly up to 5) to help me work on my newest project which runs on the PHP-Fusion CMS. This is a long time position and could become a permanent position depending on your availability, pricing, dependability, eagerness to work and timely finishing of projects I intend to create a project management infusion for PHP-Fusion where I can list and assign jobs to my workers. Most projects you will work alone on but some will require a team effort. You will have to know the PHP-Fusion CMS or be willing to become familiar with it on your own time. Please download and review the attached file for complete information on what you will be doing. As per UpWork Terms, I am cannot include a link to the project manager so you can see the projects and work needing done. Once you submit your application, I will send you the link to the project manager once I have created and installed it or found something I can use at the PHP-Fusion site which is www.php-fusion.co.uk. The attached file is extremely important to all applicants because it contains the information you will need before you apply. If you don't read it, you are going to be left in the dark. Keep in mind, I am looking for someone that has a good personality, isn't afraid of work, can follow instructions, can complete a job on time, is dependable and knows what they are doing. Failure to download and read the attached file is NOT following simple instructions which is something that can get you fired if you work for me.

I would like to update our companies source control, continuous build environment, and deployment tools to take advantage of some of Amazon's services. Background: We are 100% .NET Shop We are currently using SVN on a local server We use CruiseControl.NET for continuous building We then use some deployment scripts to upload changes to separate amazon EC2 servers Goal: We would like to start using GIT. some of our team members have used it in the past, but have never set things up. We want to make sure that everything is setup correctly and as secure as possible. We would like to use Amazon Code Commit. We have never used CodeDeploy or CodePipeline. I would like to better understand what can be done with those services to help with our building and deployment. Time / Budget: I am willing to pay a high hourly rate for the advice and implementation. I don't believe this will be a time intensive project. This project will require a lot of communication via skype, as this will be a conversation, and we want to make sure all requirements and expectations are clear.

Looking for an experienced Rails developer to develop a new application for our business. The application is already documented and we're very clear on the requirements we need. Nonetheless we'd like to validate and discuss the design. The app has a front and a back end so both skill sets are required. In addition to the project described above we'd need a second version of a project we now have in production, many features need to be polished—they are buggy and not well implemented— and some user cases need to be implemented. Technologies/knowledge required: Ruby RoR Rspec Capistrano CI and CD Javascript/Coffescript CSS or SASS Basic sysadmin to take the code to production and staging and config the environment (better with puppet or Ansible). No design skills are required as the use interface has already been designed by our designer. We speak English and Spanish, so both types of freelances are welcome.

We are an educational company providing live teaching over the Internet to secondary school children in the UK using Blackboard Collaborate classroom. We have developed our own Learning Management System for managing teachers & students, subjects & courses, lessons & timetable as well as homework. We have a fair code coverage of the LMS code - unit & integration tests. However, we are missing functional testing. We would like to hire someone who would design an infrastructure enabling business managers to create acceptance & functional tests themselves, ideally using plain English, like in Tellurium. As result of this project we'd like to achieve: - a design of the infrastructure - server setup, data flow, notifications etc. - a detailed solution description for handling test data - the LMS is mostly data driven - a lot of test cases rely on pre-prepared data through complicated operations, for example to assign homework to a group of students there needs to be a group of users of type student, a physical which is an instance of a logical course lesson - all those entities would have to be present for the test. It's crucial to make it easy for the business managers to set up tests. - examples of some basic and intermediate tests and at least one fully implemented complicated test In your estimate please include the time needed for: - implementation of the solution - full documentation - some initial training of a business manager - this can be done on per hour basis We'd be happy to answer any questions regarding the project so please don't hesitate to contact us.

I need help with setup Docker for 3 apps made with Symfony2 + 1 app Zend Framework 2 based, which all combined create one bigger application. Here are some input data: 1. Apps are connected to each other via REST API. 2. 3 apps use MySQL, 1 doesn’t have own database. Databases are located separately on their server. 3. Development version of apps needs to work with local instance of MySQL. 4. At this moment we use Jenkins to orchestrate development and release processes. Docker should be injected to it somehow? Or it should completely replace CD process? 5. There are 4 types of environments: development (Mac OS), team (Windows 7), prod (Debian), stage (Debian). Each environment has it’s own config data. Questions, which needs to be taken to consideration: 1. There are multiple cronjobs available on 2 apps. How to trig them? 2. 3 of apps produce some static files: xml, json, jpg. Those files need to be preserved somehow outside app containers? I will provide more information on Skype.
