Hi, Our company KidsCoolRide, LLC is a children's transportation company based in San Jose, CA. We are seeking legal support to review our agreements, draft agreements for employees and customers. Maintain the documents in docusign, and at times research legal matters for us as they come up. For example, in a transportation company that has employees. What is the minimum wage rate that would apply across the cities where we are driving. Also, what is the minimum wage we would select. We have discussed this with the CA EDD and they mentioned that they don't have any specific rule associated with this. Another example is, although we are not a daycare, some aggressive tax accountants have requested us to share our Tax ID number so that they can receive the deduction. Our CPA's as well as some TurboTax literature will indicate that it is not deductible. What our higher level issue is here is whether or not after providing, are we setting precedent allowing our customers to deduct and are we considered to be aiding them when our CPA advises against this. Need help to formulate a position in this respect. Other areas of review will be ensuring that we have appropriate compliance and baselining our vendor insurance requirements, review our agreements, provide recommendations on better practices in relation to protecting the company. There are other matters that may present themselves as well. Therefore, we prefer a California based attorney who understands first corporate law, employment law, basic understanding of how the CA Public Utilities Commission rules which govern transportation companies apply, etc. We are looking for a person or company who has experience in these areas so that we can leverage your experience to appropriately make decisions and stand by them so that we are legally on solid ground in our contracts as well. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the position. We do not have a sizable legal budget. Look forward to working with you. Regards, KidsCoolRide, LLC
