We are looking for a writer to contribute to our manly, DIY related website. We generally are talking about building things, fixing stuff around the house, etc.
In this case, we're looking for a real tool guy/gal who loves power tools and knows there way around a tool shed. We're going to be putting together a few different comparison articles and also buying guides so we need someone who knows what to look for and can relate that in a casual tone on our website.
For instance, we might do an article like "band saw vs. scroll saw" where we'd want you to compare what each one does, when you'd use one over the other, and then recommend/discuss a top saw of each kind (using online research and/or personal experience)
What we don't need is an "SEO" writer - this gig isn't like that.
Fluent, conversational, native US English is a must.
While a track record is great, we also welcome beginners to Upwork to apply such as students or others looking for a side income. If you have a writing sample to submit, that would be excellent.
Please let me know your hourly rate for this type of writing and what your background with tools, woodworking, etc. are - if any.
