FillSpaces is a sharing economy marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique venues used for commercial purposes. Whether it’s a large scale fundraiser/gala, an art gallery, or even a pop-up retail space for a week, FillSpaces allows people to have the freedom to make use of a wide variety of unique venues. We founded FillSpaces in 2015 and are based in London, Ontario, but we will have staff whom work remotely in other countries and expanding the market. As such we are looking for a Business Development Manager that is focused on growing our new and emerging markets.
As a BDM you will play a vital role in the growth of the two-sided market which drives FillSpaces. This will be a great opportunity for you to build a strong network, improve your communication and personal development skills. You will help shape a local growth strategy and run the tactical execution of integrated local marketing programs. With equal doses of creativity, tenacity and a focus on performance, you'll shape the marketing toolkit, filling it with successful events, partnerships and promotional campaigns that you've designed and led.
- Work with the FillSpaces team to develop and deliver a target local acquisition and growth strategy.
- Be responsible for the initial on-boarding process and ensure that users are introduced to the functionality of our platform.
- Develop and execute hyper-local marketing initiatives, including in-building promotional campaigns, guerrilla marketing activations and partnerships with local brick and mortar businesses and property owners.
- Engage and interact with our users and prospects, online and offline through events, social media, and direct engagement.
