The job is to host our existing Magento website www.skin79.ro from Siteground and Wordpress www.scoodit.com to Amazon AWS, together with their associated e-mails. Once done successfully, we will look for a full time Magento developer and server administrator.
1. Transfer the Magento shop skin79.ro smoothly (at the moment the loading time is pretty slow) from Siteground.com to our AWS Amazon account.
We should leverage the AWS environment to make all static (jpg, html, css, etc) content instantly delivered. We could transition the site to the amazon RDS which runs about 10x faster than your MySQL. Add memcached in AWS so that Magento will not have to work too hard. We'll offload the server by 75%+ so it will be quite fast.
Tech used - ubuntu 14.04 (long term support version, very stable), amazon services - ec2 (the server), s3 (the disk), route53, the dns, elasticache providing OS and magento caching, RDS (the mysql database), opcache (zend), APC cache (zend), Apache2, PHP5-FPM (super high performance). Upgrading varnish cache module and installing varnish. The plan is to simply create a machine image that you can launch on our amazon and then re-create (simple matter) the services the server part relies on. Nearly all those services are free tier elegible. We can keep the Amazon costs low, if we leverage their services strategically.
2. Transfer e-mail boxes email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com on AWS WorkMail without loosing the e-mail correspondence.
3. Transfer the simple landing Wordpress landing page scoodit.com from ecowebhosting.co.uk to AWS.
4. Transfer e-mail boxes firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org on AWS WorkMail without loosing the e-mail correspondence.
IMPORTANT! 1. www.skin79.ro is a Magento online shop and we cannot afford downtime, especially between 12:00 (noon) and 04:00 AM local Khon Kaen, Thailand time. 2. We have to be able to check our e-mails for scoodit.com at all times, we can go only one day without e-mail access.
