Looking for an experienced data analyst to develop a simple database in easy to use form to assess the frequency of breakages in an operation among other things. Data is currently in google sheets emailed on a daily basis from 3 locations to a specific email address. There is also another datapoint that you will need to get from an online POS database (specifically, 3(f), the number of that unit sold according to POS). The main categories for the database are obvious: 1. date and time email sent 2. location 3. employee 4. SKU a. number broken b. original total day estimate c. day start number d. day end number e. additions during day f. number sold according to POS However, there are somethings we may seek to add over time: a) batch number b) batch date c) employee responsible for batch d) stock picker responsible We would also like to categorise certain SKUs as "likely to break" or "less likely to break" And naturally, we will need to be able to add all the SKUs for the day for the store over different time peroids, or for specific employees. We would also like to be able to convert the number of brokens to an actual dollar figure - that can be adjusted as to whether it should be retail price or cost price. We need to have a database that anyone with basic computer knowledge can use. It can live on a hard drive on a local PC, as only 3 or 4 people will ever need to use it at any given time. As a next project we would like to be able to automate the continuing population of the database. I.e. if we can code an automated upload of the google sheet data into a database at the end of the day.

I am looking to setup a database that can be used with a Shopify store. We have a subscription website. We send one type of product with various colour and pattern options. We want to ensure we never send someone the same item and that we spread the item out and don't send to many of the same out to the same area. Happy to provide more information. Please let me know how you would attack this task and how long you think it would take?

This project is to create a table which catalogs the eventual fate of companies that have entered and then exited the Fortune 500. The deliverable for this project is a table in Excel that should look and act like the one named "Recent and announced changes to the list of S&P 500 Components" found in the Wikipedia entry for "List of S&P 500 companies" - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_S%26P_500_companies), which is essentially a chronological list (with ticker symbols) of firms that entered and left the Fortune 500 and an ostensible reason for each such replacement from 1957 until 2015. A reference should be listed for each event, just as you see in the Wiki table. Only bids for the job as a whole rather than by hour will be considered and two separate individuals will be chosen as part of a sequence designed to allow the second to verify the data provided in the first and provide an additional source of data to broaden the reference base. Bidders which are awarded the job will receive a copy of the list of Fortune 500 companies for each year from 1957 onward so that there will be no question on which firms entered and which left during each year. The actual work component is to list these in a table as illustrated in the Wiki and determine and document the reason for each.
