Our company has a database of B2B decision makers totaling 100 million contacts. We need someone with experience using a system called Elastic Search. It is not the best known system but it works very well for our own use. It is lightning fast which is important for our application. We also wish to have our data stored in MySQL . Thus, you should have experience managing large online databases. We are not looking for someone who wishes for us to start all over again and put the data into Oracle or switch from Elastic Search. For the past 25 years we have been using FileMaker Pro - while laughable as an online tool - it has worked good enough for us in many applications, thus it would help us if you also had experience working with Filemaker Pro. Our system is currently in beta mode. Users have the ability to query and download contacts. Unfortunately, our system doesn't have the ability to keep track of who has downloaded contacts, what they have downloaded in the past, receive suggestions regarding what types of files they should download in the future, and the ability to pay us for access to this data. There are other companies already in this market space including Hoovers, Netprospex and Zoominfo. The total market size is roughly $250 Million and we hope to be able to seize a small percentage of this market. You must be a self-starter. You must be able to work independently. You must be willing to work long-hours in order get our system working within the next 45 to 60 days. We have several people focused on developing the PHP and CSS3 website work - we merely need someone who can take care of all of the back-end type of programming. We can provide you with the screenshots and how we wish for people to be able to query our database. You would be the person to make the data available online - as well as trackable. We are going to want to be able to see how many emails bounce back as bad, we need to be able to show people who have paid for a subscription how many contacts they have left in their account. We need the ability for people to upload a .csv and for our online system to make suggestions to them. All of these tasks are already being done by others in this market-space. WE have to find someone who has experience doing this - if you do not have online experience working with very large databases save yourself and us the time and do not apply for this position. If you have the experience working with a) large databases, b) MySQL, c) FileMaker, d) Elastic Search and e) other email verification type systems such as AEV - then please contact us. We are a start-up and thus don't have a great deal of monies - so are looking for someone who is affordable on a full-time basis or someone who can work part-time for us but still be able to get this data online within 45 days.

Frontier Health currently has a database (excel spreadsheet) of medical devices and companies and it's difficult to navigate. We need a freelancer to design a database with improved functionality that makes it easier to find and enter information, and to migrate the current database into the newly designed one. Currently there are nearly two hundred products, but we expect this to grow to over 1000 products. Eventually we'd like to link the database to our website, but that is a far off goal and is a long way from the current timeline. We'd send our current database and get your thoughts on how best to move forward. We hope that this is a relatively quick turn around project, 1-2 weeks, but will rely on your educated guess as to the timeframe. Knowledge of excel and other, perhaps more applicable database systems is imperative. Understanding how to hyperlink and display different sets of information, depending on the audience. Knowledge of how database systems link to the web is also important. Please include your background (including similar projects you've worked on), your hourly rate, and an estimate of the number of hours you believe this project will take (understanding that you have limited information at this time). Thanks and look forward to hearing from you -
