We have a large application (200+ screens) that uses a mixture of technologies for user interface design. The legacy screens are web-based and use DHTML features only available in Internet Explorer and Classic ASP (behaviors, dynamic events, html controls, xml data islands). The modern screens are built using C# and Infragistics control libraries to form our desktop application. The legacy screens are embedded into this desktop application using a NET 2.0 browser control. After January 2015 Microsoft will no longer support IE. In addition, the data binding features and hypertext controls used in our legacy screens are no longer supported in IE 10 and above so we are stuck on IE 9 for the past few years.
