Hello everyone, my name is Alberto Muratore and I’m an amateur videogames developer. Since March I’m interested in a project for which I found the team Credici; a group of people that covers me and my collaborators under the same name.
Our project is called Abstract Arena, a game belonging to the action-arcade genre already available in its early version on Windows and Linux systems. Audio sector made for the occasion, minimal graphics and game’s competitive gameplay style, made the title be ranked third in the annual videogames developing competition organized by the GameMaker Italia forum. Interfacing to a wider public through our presence on social networks, we spread demo trailers and advertising material, gaining cheering critics and very good advices.
At the moment the game is incomplete, because some of the main components are missing, among which the Story Mode. In the perspective of this aspect, we have partnered with Daniele Terracina, professional author of a sci-fi–fantasy books saga already started with the first book distributed in Italy by Feltrinelli, who has already written the story for the game.
Who we are searching for is an illustrator. We would like to integrate illustrations to the plot narrative as it can enrich the player experience; and to ask the realization of the game cover for retail version – we know Abstract Arena will never get the support of a publisher, but we would like to send a copy at the end of the development cycle to every main videogame Italian publications, to get a review.
We would let you to be quite free to express your graphic style and design our characters.
What the team Credici has to offer is the demonstration of the collaboration itself, that can enrich personal and collective experiences of all the participants, counting as good example of a cooperation. Furthermore our fairly big visibility on the international public can represent a useful advertising for your other works – the game can already boast in its latest iteration of the support for English, Spanish, Deutsch and French language, and the Italian as well.
Since our main goal is to public and sell Abstract Arena on Steam, we can offer a fair percentage on the profit that we can establish together.
We really hope you could appreciate our project giving us the chance to show you the details of the collaboration.
Alberto Muratore and Credici team.
