I am looking for someone that can write on various non-fiction topics for ebooks. We will provide a template for you to use as a guide to the Kindle format that we use. This is a work for hire assignment meaning once the work has been paid for all rights will transfer to us and the writer will have no rights and will not use the writing in any way or fashion. Including in the portfolio or as a sample of your work. Our Budget is .55 per 100 words. (State in your cover letter the rate is .55 cents per 100 words and I understand this) Requirements: * Have a Skype Account for communication purposes. * Have an active gmail account * Be willing to work within our time zone of Central Standard Time zone here in the USA. * English as your first language * Have experience writing eBooks * Agree to our rates (we don't want to hear that you are not comfortable with the prices after you have been awarded the project or that you thought it was more. It is .55 cents per 100 words) * Agree to our payment schedule as stated in this project's details meaning I must see your work before an invoice is sent to me. * Agree to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) * Zero Tolerance for plagiarism In your cover letter state how many words you can write in a day or per week. Our Payment schedule is as follows: All Work should be invoiced, and the invoice turned in before Thursday at 5 PM CST. The invoice will be paid on the following Monday evening. The Pay period is Friday to Thursdays. There will be no upfront payments to start this project. Please acknowledge you understand and accept this. Again the rate is .55 cents per 100 words and the milestone is not funded until the week has been worked. Remember this a project for ongoing work, so keep that in mind when bidding. You can place your quote per ebook or per week or per month. Just let me know in the cover letter your explanation for your quote and the amount of words you can write. When you place your proposal quote you agree that this is a work for hire and all rights will transfer to our company once paid. I had a designer do the layout of my paperback book and he said he could also do the ebook conversion, but after the paperback was done and he went to convert it to ebook he realized he didn't have the skills necessary to do it and could not figure it out. I need to get a Kindle friendly version created pretty quick. Here is what I have to work with: 1) A PDF file we used for the print version but that doesn't load well into the kindle viewer. 2) A .mobi file but the text is all jumbled (looks like the font he used is not supported) 3) Original word document (but that is sans the Illustrator formatting and such the designer did...which may be a good thing...the table of contents / page numbers would need to be linked in this one, though) I just need this to get put into ebook format so I can upload to Kindle (and ideally apple eventually). It's doesn't need to be illustrated or have any high end features; just something that makes it clean and readable. Ideally I'd like to have this done by Friday. I have a 30 slide powerpoint that I would like to turn into a workbook for students. Some of the slides should be put on multiple pages. Should be designed in such a way that encourages notes. I also need someone that can creatively add boxes with tasks during the session like "Write ideas for content here" or "Next steps." Each page could be laid out pretty similarly. Looking for someone to replace images in the workbook with iconography (except for Pinterest examples and screenshots). Integrate branding and create a standard color scheme. I need someone who is very familiar with creating ebooks on InDesign. I have written a book and it is now on Microsoft Word. I have a lot of photos in the book. I want it to be formatted so that the pages can not be changed or the size and placement of photos changed. I want it laid out as it is (unless suggested improvements are approved). The book is between 175 and 200 pages. I can format it on word according to the measurements I am given that will be best for an ebook. I downloaded the InDesign app and I do not have time to learn this now. I need to have this finished long before I would be able to do it proficiently. If you can help me....please let me know!!!
