Application Programmer Assist in deployment, analysis, testing, and bug fixing in a MySQL/J2EE web based application. We have an application in a repository in GitHub. It has about 200 open issues. Some are simple fixes and others are more complicated. We budgeted $15-thousand for this project, but the actual cost might be significantly less or more. This does not have to be a fixed price project. It might actually make more sense to be done on a per-hour basis. We envision hiring perhaps two coders to work about 15 hours per week each for the next two or three months. Another option is to group some issues in GitHub for a fixed price bid. It is all negotiable. If we think you're the right person for us, then we will give you access to the GitHub repository. Then, after you study the open issues (bugs), you can make a proposal of whether you want to work hourly or whether you want to bid a fixed price to fix some of the issues. Qualifications: Professional experience with MySQL, Java, XHTML, Maven, Apache-Tomcat. Excellent coding and code documentation practices required. Familiarity with Jasper reports, GIT Hub, and/or Zendesk desired. Computer security experience a plus.
