First Step Coding is a new coding school in San Francisco that provides a 4-week introductory course on computer programming. We need help in two main areas: 1) Applicant Screening. We need someone with experience in academic admissions, recruiting, or sales to help us screen applicants (according to a set of questions we'll provide), represent the values of our program, and arrange appointments for 2nd round interviews where applicable. 2) Social Media Monitoring + Lead Generation. We need someone to help with monitoring our social media accounts and coordinating events. It's great if you have social media experience, but it's not strictly necessary for this role. We mainly need you to engage with our existing community, help answer questions, and help us keep our CRM up to date. If you can help us with both of these needs, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and at least have an interest in tech (no coding experience is required), then we'd love to work with you!

Hi, I'm writing, on behalf of various Concerto Group companies. About Concerto in a nutshell: The Concerto Group is one of the UK's leading event services companies. A £37 million + business with seven offices and employing over 120 full time staff, the Group comprises of 16 brands that provide event management, venues, catering and event services. We're looking to hire another writer who can contribute to our blog. The position will start with 2 blog posts per month with possibilities of growth beyond this if you can deliver consistent quality work. Each blog post will be between 1500-2000 words per post. Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy. Our readers trust us and we absolutely must ensure the highest quality content. Our budget is around $100 per month for 2 x 1500-2000 word posts. So please bid based on delivering 2 x 1500-2000 word articles. You'll be assigned topics by me (Balazs) and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required, but generally once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal. By all means check out the following links to get a feel for the sort of quality we are looking for. Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required. Some examples of what we have in mind in terms of content and style: http://www.weareultimate.co.uk/top-corporate-christmas-party-ideas-for-2016/ http://www.weareultimate.co.uk/10-creative-event-ideas-engage-attendees/ http://www.weareultimate.co.uk/ensure-event-trending-social-media/ Initially you would be required to write an example article (paid one, of course) for us to be able to determine whether we can work together; if so, we are looking forward to a long-term cooperation. Thanks and good luck!

My business is a production studio, where we rent out our interdisciplinary space for film shoots, still photo shoots, art shows, fundraisers, and other such events. The objective is to find someone who is willing to help manage the administrative aspect, as well as to out reach to as many clients as possible (regulars and new). We can rotate with working from home as well. Other duties would involve doing site management during some of these bookings, and usually our clients include a budget for a site rep (which would be your job).
