I am a YouTuber who has built a fairly successful channel doing beauty tutorials. The goal of my YouTube channel is to help educate and inspire women to love styling their hair and makeup. I think a lot of times we are taught to feel inferior through the whole beauty process and I try to come at it from a place of empowerment, creativity, and fun. You can see my current model on YouTube under kayley melissa. At this point, I no longer have the time to create the quality of work I want to across all my platforms and I am looking into outsourcing some of my routine tasks.
Specifically, I'm looking for someone to edit down my footage typically from 30 to 60 minutes shot on a single camera into a 5-8 minute video. There will be a lot of cuts, color correction, some text overlay, and some transitions requested. I typically do a voice over format and I'm okay with doing the voice over and audio myself once the video is edited.
Typically, editing a video takes me about 10-15 hours.
I am working toward posting 2 videos a week. At this point I'm interested in hiring out my tentpole content (1 to 2 videos a month). However, once I can afford it I would like to outsource the editing of at least 1 video per week.
I've selected "Pay by the hour" for this listing, but I am open to discussing a fixed price model. I've also selected "Intermediate", but if your experience falls above or below that I am happy to discuss what you can bring to the table.
What can you bring to my videos? Once we have gotten to know each other, what would your turnaround time typically look like?
