Hello everyone, I need someone that has the expertise needed for consulting me through the process of designing and building a data center. The data center will be a green field project, so there will be a lot of freedom on choosing the most appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to assist me in the following areas: - the technical project: architecture, electrical power sources, UPS and generator, air-conditioning systems of high precision - low current systems (extinguishing, fire detection,access control, CCTV and structured cabling) - acquisition of equipment - ideas for creating a modular, flexible design for the new data center, a design that will allow an easy expansion in the future if that will be required The support sessions will be based on the following process: I will gather a series of questions, then i will schedule a support session with the freelancer hired for this job. My expectations are that the freelancer will be able to respond to any question that i might have and he or she will be able to consult me on any matter linked with the designing and the building phases of a data center. We require an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to work with us on a Shopping Mall Project. The Engineer shall be responsible for the followings : a) To review local Uniform Building By-Law and assist Design Consultants and propose "Performance Based Approach" Design. b) Review related MEP System design and comment as and when necessary based on "Performance Based Approach" principle. c) Establish Computer Model and carry out CFD simulations to obtain ASET from the result of the simulation. d) Carry our Egress modeling to obtain RSET. e) Compare ASET and RSET result and suggest improvement measures or design amendment to Fire Safety System f) Prepare Fire Engineering Report (FER) for submission to Authority Drawings will be provided during interview.
