I am working on a free to play game that will be available to download online. I will need to have something to show before the 10th of September. What I am working on will be similar the the multiplayer matches of classic Bomberman to a degree (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_C70gc5I2Y). Of course, when not playing in multiplayer, I need to have some semi-intelligent AI filling in the empty slots. Ideally, they should have different modes of difficulty, so a standard easy-medium-hard should suffice.
The GML developer I'm looking for should have some experience in advanced AI, and possibly have familiarity with state machines or behavioral trees. I am working on just about everything else, including art, design, and music, and since I am actively working on these things on a daily basis, it doesn't afford me any time to attempt advanced AI on top of the creative process and still get the project done on time.
Looking for someone who can deliver quickly so I can try to get things implemented as soon as possible. More work will be available, of course, if things are completed in a timely fashion. That all said this is mostly just a pet project created for a website I own, I don't mind spending a little money but I don't have AAA funds! Let's keep it reasonable.
The experience level box says entry-level, but that's mostly in terms of ideal price range. I can go higher but that'll require *exceptional* results.
