Looking for an experienced video game developer and network security expert for an 3-6 month project perhaps more. Unknown as yet as to how many developers are needed hence this contract may include multiple sub-projects. Must be well experienced in video-game development (Unity or Unreal), Network Security and TCP/IP. As worded in our patent we are creating a video game that imports network packet data into a video game engine that converts that data into video game avatars where users can visually investigate network interactions and possible network breaches. Please check out the video on our website for a better understanding of what we want our base user interface to look like. Currently the interface in the video was created using After Effects. If possible we would like to import these elements into the game interface. We want the game to be based on a point system hence we want to convert what's in the video into a competitive experience. Users can gain points by identifying network breaches (hacks, malware etc) and virtual defend (shoot) against those breaches. We also want the game to have a VR option but that isn't required for the MVP (minimal viable product) we need currently developed. The network data will eventually come from our router hardware but in the meantime we need to emulate this for the MVP. We are creating more than a product, we are creating a social movement that aligns with people's values in a completely new and revolutionary way. We are creating the next generation of cyber-security. Our budget is starting at $10,000 - $20,000 but we understand it may require more.

I need a developer to create a plugin for a video game (Minecraft) that will be hosted on a sever. It will include adding new races, classes, abilities, ranks, traits, ways of gaining XP/experience, etc. Possibly add things visually (amour sets, weapons, magic, animations, etc), but that can be done separately if you don't want to do design/art aspects as well. The full technical specifications have not yet been decided (hopefully you'll be able to discuss that), but you will be creating a plugin that allows players to pick predefined races (i.e Viking, Elf/Elven, Dwarf, Celt, etc) and classes within each race that can be leveled up by completing tasks and gaining experience. Each race and class will have their own traits , for instance elves will be naturally better with using bows (a higher chance of performing some affect, maybe) and will also be able to craft better bows. Dwarfs will have a higher chance of finding gold and diamonds when mining, and Vikings will have a better chance of dealing greater damage with an axe (etc). There will also be kingdoms and areas of claimed land, and ranks within each piece of land, such as King, Earl, Lord, Farmer, Warrior/Soldier, etc. Other players, kingdoms and armies will be able to come to kingdoms and invade, and if they stay within that piece of land for a certain time (probably within a fort's walls), while staying alive (similar to game modes in other games such as king of the hill, domination, capture the area, etc) that area will then belong to the invading kingdom. The longer a kingdom has held a piece of land for, the higher defence bonus it will receive (i.e the longer amount of time it will take to capture). And pieces of land that have just recently been captured will be much easier to capture back, and therefore more difficult for the invaders. Within the armies themselves (if a kingdom chooses to create one), there will be a fairly simple hierarchical ranking system. The ranks mentioned earlier will have affect in commanding the armies (each soldier in the army will be a real player - and therefore probably won't consist of more than 10-20 players at one time). Different armies will also have different abilities and traits within battle, depending on each player's class and race. When a kingdom or piece of land is created/claimed, it will need managing. The leaders will be able to create armies and promote Generals at a cost, as well as setting taxes for residents to pay. If a king or leader is killed (even though they will respawn) there may be a chance to try and claim the throne. Lords and Earls (etc) inside a kingdom will also have the power to create smaller towns and villages inside that kingdom, paying taxes to the king.
