Looking for a Unity developer (end product on HTC Vive) to create a visual fields test game. Visual fields: The player fixates their eyes on a central target as stimuli come from the 4 cardinal directions. Their L and R eyes will be tested. Purpose: The purpose of this project is to test the visual field of the subject. Design: Design actually needs to be bare bones, so that the subject will not be distracted-perhaps a starry sky and a comet as the stimulus. Input/Output data: I would like to link this to some retrievable database that has (1) subject identifier [can be entered on the computer externally] (2) the 8 scores will populate a excel sheet unique to the subject identifier. The game needs to be highly optimised after the addition of effects and shadows so that FPS does not drop. Looking for specialists willing to work with international programmers and developers to assist in modeling, basic animating, and the development of environments. I wish to start with a small team and cover the basics before growing into a larger team of up to 10 to help me and the original team finish the project. looking for an experienced developer to create an interactive demo .Most game engines do not like to play outside the working environment , we need to be able to send information out of the game to control an external device via usb and receive data from the external device to show status or error messages on the game environment. We are not stuck on using unreal ,but the game engine must interface with either a VB program or a C++ program. We have proved the concept using an unreal game engine but the student did not have the skills to work out all the problems and refine the demo. This project could lead unto other projects but the development would include working with our hardware to be sure it works together . We are located in Richland MI.
